So first I just want to make something clear. Our fic WON'T be like Disney or OUAT. Sure the basic plot is taken from the show and some characters are a big part of the Disney fandom but Rachel and I really want to write original stories for everyone with new adventures and twists. Of course some aspects will be similar but they WON'T be the EXACT SAME THING. I'm just trying to make this clear as some of you thought you had to pick a character from OUAT or a Disney character. To be honest, Rachel and I prefer WAY more the original fairy tales to the Disney version so yeah don't expect the fic to be a carbon copy of what you know. So with that cleared, you can pick whatever characters you want (not only ones that appeared on Disney. So please don't pick a Disney character because of what happens in the movies please) but keep in mind that those characters have to be somewhat fairy tale like. Something that could be from a story telling book. You know what I mean ;)

Also I have two questions and we would really REALLY like your input guys, so please answer both questions and tell us a bit about what you think of it yeah?
1/ Should we have two names like in OUAT?
For example: Snow is named Mary-Margaret in our world, Charming is named David etc etc Thus keeping a sense of surprise to know who's who.
2/ What fairy tale you ABSOLUTELY want to see used?
Make a short list of 3 or 4 fairy tales that you think are REALLY necessary and tell us why too please. Of course, Rach and I reserve the right to pick what will appear or not :)

So yeah please PLEASE answer to both questions because we want to write something that you'll like too ;)

1)idk what the two names things means? But sure! Lol as long as it doesn't get too confusing.
2)well I love Aladdin and Little Mermaid. And idk if Pochontas and Mulan count as fairy tales but yeah.

^ Well, I'm pretty sure we will use two names because:
1) We want to include our own names in the story, too, but won't it sound a bit weird to talk about people like Moosh, Nad and Rachel running around the Forbidden Forest?
2) It would be really weird to just go up to a cursed fairytale character and go "So, Jiminy Cricket, I heard someone thinks you're a fairytale character. How crazy is that?
I just really want two names and this is something I'm probably not going to negotiate in. But the other stuff is all about your opinions.

^Actually Rachel and I talked about the name thing and we've decided to do it. You'll see why it is even more important for some characters ;)

1) @Moosh: Well in the enchanted forest (fairy tale land) there is Snow White, and after the Curse she exists in Storybrooke (real town) by the name of Mary-Margaret!

Oh and I asked for either Peter Pan, Grumpy or Pinocchio but my absoulute #1 choice for myself would be the Mad Hatter (Not OUAT disgusting version). I relate to him a lot and if you decide to make me the one knowing Mad Hatter would fit the situation better than Peter Pan, but it's totally up to you choose whoever you want (Just no freakin' Charming!!)

1) Yes! I love that idea! And I don't know if that's a lot of work for you guys, but what would make it even more awesome is that if the characters' names are related to their fairytale names. For example, in OUAT: Regina, literally means queen, and Sydney Glass, well mirror/glass, get it? I understand you don't want to copy OUAT, but I always thought that was really cool.

Seriously, I'm so excited for this! I'm already making icons for my ideal storyline (as you can probably see in my user icon) ;D I know it's your guys story, and of course you make the final decisions, but when I first heard about this idea, the first thing that popped into my head was link for Sleeping Beauty. And yeah, I'm gonna shut up now ;D

And yeah, for the rest, you know I'm a hopeless romantic, so my other favorites are Cinderella, Beauty & the Beast, Snow White,...
But I also really love Fatemeh's idea of having some Greek Mythology in it. Aphrodite would be perfect in this story I think.

^ In truth putting Greek Mythology really messed with the general atmosphere of the fanfic, of the scenery in it, but we've decided to somehow try to put it in so Fatemeh can get a character from it!

I agree about greek mythology <3 I know every "story" by heart hehe :p but maybe it would be difficult for Rachel & Aline to write it in.

^ Hey, I love Greek mythology too, a lot. The only thing even somewhat related to religion that I don't hate. But we're not going to make it one of the main themes cause it doesn't match the rest of the very... well, different storylines. But we'll surely fit something in, you guys don't have to worry about that.
By the way, if we get some more planning done today, I'll be starting this fic on Saturday :)

^The thing is about Greek mythology is that the atmosphere doesn't really add up to the fairy tales atmosphere & with those we chose to do. What I wanted to do ( & I think Rachel agrees with me) is that we wanted to be able to bring all these stories together and make it plausible without confusing you too much :p. We'll try our best to answer everyone's demands but of course some things might not work or not be used if we can't seem to fit them in. That said, Rach and I made quite a bit of planning yesterday so this fic is going well so far (I'm such a tease haha) and I think you can expect the first chapter very soon ;)

@Celine: I can't see your screencap. It says it doesn't exist anymore :s But I'm loving your icon <3 I might as well ask you to be one of the icon makers for this fic :p

Well when chapter 1 gets up and we find out about casting & ships/friendships/characters we can all wear an icon of them, like f.e. I could wear an icon of my fanfic otp (let's say Nad and her ship f.e.) and Maria could wear an icon of Holly's icon if she's her favorite and Moosh can wear an Atie/Bee icon (if you make some friendship scenes as well!)

^ That sounds good, but I don't know if it should happen already after chapter 1, considering that it'll probably take us at least 5-10 chapters to introduce all the ships & for you guys to choose your OTPs ;P But I like the idea in general.

^Yes I like the idea of us wearing icons fic-related :p But like Rachel said, we'll take time to introduce everyone, and we kinda wanted to still keep a little suspense by not telling who everyone is right away. Like making you guess & stuff :p As for the list of actors/actresses portraying us, this might appear right from the beginning but only with our world names though ;) (f.e. Rachel has ____, I have ____)

^ Yeah we definitely wanna keep some suspense. For example in OUAT what we first find out about Snow is that she's a queen, then that she was a runaway and then something else that I can't remember. We're not going in a chronological answer when writing this stuff, not necessarily. We'll reveal different plot twists when it's a good time and they seem necessary. The real world parts will, however, go steadily in a chronological order.
