Plan A Entertainment addresses talk of A Pink\'s comeback

Plan A Entertainment spoke up on March 17 about talk of A Pink\'s comeback.

Earlier, reports claimed that after member Eunji\'s solo album set for April, A Pink had plans to make a group comeback right after. The reports also referenced leader Chorong\'s comments from their concert in December, when she told fans, "Our comeback plans are once in the first half [of 2017] and once in the second half. We will put our heads together and try to return as soon as possible next year."

Plan A stated in response, "There\'s nothing confirmed regarding A Pink\'s comeback in the second half of the year. There\'s been no music production work so far. The members have brought up their group comeback often. But since Eunji\'s comeback has been confirmed, we will focus on the solo album for now." 

Industry insiders also speculated that many artists, including A Pink, will try to avoid the upcoming presidential election set for May 9.

Because all attention will be on the elections, so it will be hard for groups to do as good as they would usually do

Wonder what would happen if any SM artists come back during elections.

They will still likely not do as well as usual. The only difference is that if a group that is not yet established/rookie makes a comeback around that time, then they will be completely overshadowed and will have difficulty making new fans. Whereas if a more well-known group (doesn\'t matter the company) makes a comeback than their fans will definitely support them (so it won\'t be a failure), but there is a high chance that it won\'t measure up to some of their past comebacks (since less will be paying attention to them). Still some groups are planning on coming back that month still (ex: Infinite). And what\'s interesting is that if hardly any groups decide to comeback in May, then the groups that choose to will benefit. Because they will have less competition for that month.

Well that\'s pretty disappointing if there has been no music production in the works at the moment. I doubt Chorong would make such a statement during their concert if they weren\'t working on something.

Plan A said they dont have anything in the works for the 2nd half of the year, so we can assume they\'re working on something for the first half :)

please i hope they comeback with a better concept and better song, sometimes i just wish they do sexy concept and a song that suit them just once do a sexy concept i bet it be a such big hit.

OK, in better terms here, it\'s currently unclear at this point on when A Pink will be making their full group comeback, alright?  So in the meantime, we have Eunji\'s upcoming solo comeback to look forward to.
