It's just showing how the teenage years are so carefree and fun.

Well, look at the first two verses:

"You think I'm pretty
Without any makeup on
You think I'm funny
When I tell the punch line wrong
I know you get me
So I let my walls come down
Down

Before you met me I was alright but things
Were kinda heavy
You brought me to life
Now every February, you'll be my valentine
Valentine"

Teenage relationships are never that committed or ideal, but teenagers often think they are. It seems like she's making fun of a teenager's view of a relationship.

Maybe it's alluding to the naivety teenagers have when it comes to love and relationships, but I don't think it's mocking that. It's more nostalgic for that feeling of first love and the excitement that's more present when you're young.
