They're both interested in the corporate/NY lifestyle, they're both going places, Ryan already likes her, etc.

Eh, I actually like Roy and Karen. I just don't like them with Pam and Jim. I think Roy's a good guy who just made some mistakes, you know?

I think Karen would help Roy to mature and find his calling in life and Roy would help Karen relax and enjoy life as it comes.

Karen is growing on me as I watch all my season 3 episodes over and over again.
She was just in the wrong place at the wrong time and Jim shouldn't have led her on. He should have just been friends with her because they make a good team.
However, Karen should not have called Pam a bitch. That is the only thing I didn't like that she did (besides date Jim). I just think that for Karen, it was wrong place, wrong time. Although it was a little strange that she moved to Stamford because Jim was. (I mean, I know that wasn't the only reason she moved, but like Jim said, NYC is right around the corner and she's working for a failing paper company.)
