I'm asking because I've seen about zillion picks on this spot where people are talking about how "hot" they think he is. So I'm wondering if that's why people like him or not.

Regardless, I'm a fan just because I like his acting and movies. I personally don't find him that attractive. He seems like a really nice guy though.

I loved him as Peeta, and I think he did a great job, but I honestly don't think I'd like him near as much if he weren't hot. Although, the huge Everlark fan I am, my opinion on his hotness could be swayed by the fact that he played Peeta. Whoever played Gale could be considered hot if he didn't play Gale because Gale can die in a hole for killing Prim. Anywho, that was complete overkill. Hope I helped, though:)
