"JANE EYRE" (1943) Review

Many fãs of charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre", are aware that numerous (probably over twenty) televisão and movie adaptations of it had been made over the past several decades. While perusing the Internet, I was surprised to discover that the opinion of the 1943 adaption seemed to be extremely divided. fãs either regard it as the best adaptation or the worst. There seemed to be no middle ground.

"JANE EYRE" (2011) Review

There seemed to be certain famous British novels that are always adapted for film or televisão . . . over and over again. One of those novel is charlotte Brontë's 1847 novel, "Jane Eyre". There have been twelve televisão adaptations and seventeen movie adaptations. That must be a world record for any literary piece. I have seen at least three televisão adaptations and four movie adaptations. The most recent I have seen is the 2011 motion picture, directed por Cary Fukunaga.
