While the newly released single of Seo Taiji and iu is getting much amor from everyone, it is also bringing suspicions of plagiarism.
On September 2nd, Seo Taiji and iu released their collaboration track, “Sogyeokdong,” bringing amor and joy to the fãs of both iu and Seo Taiji. Even now the song is sweeping through various Korean charts, topping in all of them.
Seo Taiji’s comeback is highly anticipated in Korea as it is his first return in five years.
But even in the midst of its high popularity, it was almost inevitable that the song would face plagiarism suspicions. Some netizens are suspecting that Seo Taiji plagiarized from Scottish duo Chvrches, and now the debate is heating up on the internet.
In many cases of Synth-Pop bands like Chvrches, synthesizers take a huge part in the genre itself, and this might have brought the suspicion of Seo Taiji’s plagiarism.
Seo Taiji’s company responded to the suspicion por asking the audience to listen Seo Taiji’s version of “Sogyeokdong,” due to its significant difference from that of IU’s.
What do you think on the situation?

iu puts the "A" in "Adorable." We already know she has a baby-face, but with a beanie, she goes back in time and returns as her 15-year-old self. Her taste in beanies is just as adorable, ranging from the monster-ear beanie (far right) to the beanie with a huge fluff ball placed on top.

KBS 2TV's 'Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook' had a Jeju Acoustic Festival (JAF) special on September 13, featuring singers John Park and IU, who saw each other again for the first time in a long time!
iu said, "I like acoustic música with its simple composition. I think there's a high level of concentration," and performed an acoustic song with her soothing vocals. When asked if there was anything that came to mind in relation to Jeju Island, iu said, "I like Jeju Island's hallabong the best (a type of clementine). Its sweet taste is the best."
This cued John Park to appear holding a Jeju Island hallabong. He said, "It has been a while since I saw iu since a guest appearance at a concert. Today, she gives off a mature and womanly feel."

iu went for a simple girl-next-door look. She paired the blusa with pêssego colored shorts and a bright color block shoulder bag. She opted for natural make-up and "apple hair" with loose curls. Na-Eun went in a different direction when styling the blouse. She wore the piece with a white high-waist flared saia with black polka dots. She, too, went for a natural look with light make-up and loose curls.
IU's outfit was perfect for her role as Soon Shin. However, I think Na-Eun really shined in this outfit. I amor that she ran away with the feminine look. The saia perfectly balances out the attention from the bare shoulders and ruffled sleeves on the blouse.
But in the end both ladies looked beautiful!
