Yeah my Dad's grandparents are all actually FROM Ireland... so technically that makes me half-irish

I'm completely 100% Irish and proud! My Great grandmother was a spy for the IRB and got a medal for it and my great grandfather was so high up in the IRB that he had to move to Argentina for a few years or he would've been killed! My other great grandfather was beaten up by some black and tans because he let two IRB men hide in his house but he wouldn't tell them where they were.... my family were alot braver that I am!

My great-great grandmother(I think!) hid guns and stuff for the IRA(the old one not the new who just randomly blow up stuff) in her shop and the black and tans(No offense to English people) ambushed the(old)IRA just down the road from my house more updates when I remember more!

Edit: just remembered Grace O'Malley(Grainne Uaile) was like my great-great-great-great-great........ grandmother.

im around a quarter irish....my family came to america a while ago...my great great grandfather was peirce butler who was an american justice from ireland....and my great great great great great graandfather (i don't know how many greats thats just an estimate) was Tom Butler (black Tom) was the earl of ormond...my family even has a crest haha...so i like to think im connected to ireland even if im just a quarter irish :)))

p.s. normally i don't boast about my family but when in rome
