I sat up, my hand automatically flying to the person's face above me.

I winced. "Sorry, Teddy," I yawned, "I'm really tired."

"You must be," she replied. "because you slept through sword practice." She pointed toward the arena, where campers were filing out slowly, lugging their various kinds of equipment.

"Dang it," I cursed. I sat up. "I tried to stay awake.."
