This ano for fanpop Human Rights Awareness Month, I am doing an ícone theme. I want to have four Human Rights ícone Contests (one for every week of December), with different themes for each week.

Themes
November 27-December 7: The first theme will be World AIDS day, which is December 1st. This contest will start now, and go until December 6th. Voting will occur on the 7th.
December 8-December 14: The segundo theme will be Celebrate Human Rights, in accordance with the theme for link on December 10. This contest will start on the 8th, and go until the 13th. Voting occurs on the 14th.
December 15- December 21: This is a general Human Rights theme, where anything goes. This contest will start on the 15th and go until the 20th. Voting occurs on the 21st.
December 22-Dcember 31: This theme will be a tri-themed ícone contest. Three concepts, determined por the winners of the first three contests, will be given to contestants, who can make ícones based on one or all three themes. The winner of this contest, and the winner of the anterior three, will each receive graphics por me for "Best Icon, HRAM 2011."

The segundo icon-themed idea I had was to offer to create ícones for everyone on fanpop who wants to show their support of human rights this season. Examples of human rights ícones I made can be seen below.

The first row are ícones specifically made for past HRAM events.

For mais images, I encourage you to check out my link, in particular this post on link and this post on link. I am willing to make custom icons for anyone who asks. I can do it of your favorito HR quote, favorito cause, favorito TV show/characters with the HRAM stamp of approval, favorito holiday theme (Christmas, Hanukkah, etc), what have you. Just ask, and I'll make one.

If you're interested in participating in any of these things, let me know. The contest will take place in the forums. link

In 1994, an estimated 800,000 Rwandans were slaughtered in just 100 days in an act of genocide. Meanwhile, neighboring Uganda was in the middle of what one topo, início UN official would label "the world's most neglected humanitarian crisis."
