As i mentioned before, i LOVED.IT.

AMAZING. EVERY SINGLE SECOND!! I even loved the whole Lydia and House relationship thing. It was beautifully written, and so sweet. You could really see a new version of House when he was with her. I look forward to next week :)

i agree with Fabouluz, i def enjoyed the way House was when he was with her, it was so refreshing to see a gentler side of House. a side we NEVER see. the kiss and sex was sweet, but i just hate that she was selfish and ripped his poor, "broken" heart to shreds! i enjoyed the way he was so loveable and gentle. i look foward to maybe putting all that love and sexyness into a 'certain' relationship with a 'certain' dean of medicine. but we know that PROBABLY NOT how that will play out. but again not HATING the Lydia character, just HATING what she did to him, leaving him the way she did. ahhh blah blah blah. don't take me seriously people. it 10.30 and i have swim practice @ the crack of 5 AM and im tired. don't hate. lol

F**k the Emmys - give Hugh Laurie an Academy A-ward for his
stay in the psych-ward. Though the music box miracle would unfold better in book form, the TV "wrap it up" version was more than acceptable & the PREMIERE a solid 5 star 2 hanky affair !!!!!!!
Also, and SERIOUSLY - I vote to nix the term "HUDDY," for this
season. Enough already. It's House and it's Cuddy - these are
the characters. It’s just not cute anymore. I suggest H/Cu instead, or H/Wi, or H/Ca or any other suggestions that are less mind numbing.
EXAMPLE: H/Ly was sooooooo break through human for House. His tears said it all and made me and I am sure most of you water up and cry. Lydia was a light to help SAVE House from his darkness - GOD I don't want to hear anything via the dip-ships to taint this beautiful moment.
Season 6 off to an amazing start. WOW.

I totally agree with you bluehue. House/Cuddy sounds so much more romantic in my eyes, Huddy sounds kind of a childish nickname xD imo.

(P.S. I don't mean to curb enthusiasm or individual expression with the
Huddy thing. Just time to yaawwn & stretch a little. Basically fanpop is
quite diverse & fun to follow - thank goodness).

In my opinion,it was the greatest season opener.It was beautifully written.Everything was done beautifully.The House/Lydia relationship was wonderful.It opened up House's eyes.The new House emerged.I just loved how the first half of the episode was focused on House's mind games and his little schemes.The second half,focusing on how he changed in Mayfield.The music box,Lydia,Anna,Steve,Nolan...just amazing.To tell you the truth,I wasn't very excited,yes right after s5 ended I was pretty stoked about s6.During the summer and the last week before the premiere,I was kind of meh about it.This episode was a musical piece,and it was played beautifully :)

Its become my favourite episode ever, without Cuddy and all.....so that's a fucking huge achievement.....finally an episode that beats "Joy" and "Fetal Position"......wow!

Well it was a wonderful season premier for sure! Alot was jam packed into that 2nd hour. As a few others have said it was really nice to see House's softer side and I really like that he actually started taking part in the treatment/talent show/etc. Lydia saw right through his personality in the beginning and I just knew they were going to get together. I think it was really nice for House and I think it changed him (at least for the time being). It was nice he figured out about the music box b/c I feel that was crucial. Even though I loved the episode I feel like it should have been a season finale, not a season premier. It felt like an ending to me... him going through the rehab, going through the transformation, helping people along the way, completing it then getting on the bus really just felt like a total ending to me. But... love that its not b/c now I don't have to wonder what happens next. =]

It was so wonderfull,sad,captivating and a thousand more beautiful words. I cried my eyes out during some parts <33 I really can't wait for the rest of this season.

Its a week now since the episode aired, so any euphoria about the season starting and my beloved House being back has settled , I have waited purposefully untill this wave of hysteria had left me so that I could do a true review on the opener .

.. this episode was .........NOTHING SHORT OF AWESOME ....... I loved it ,I loved the way that all the doctors including Dr Nolan respected House right from the beginning , I was worried that they would treat him as a jerk but they didnt , I loved the way he tried to ruffle them and the ...brilliant brilliant .... realisation by House that he was not the Alpha Male in that establishment , incredible facial expression from Hugh as usual , I have said it before and I will continue to say it .............Hugh Laurie can say more with his eyes and facial expressions than most actors can with a two page script .........he is just amazing ....

The way they portrayed all the patients and doctors with the complex and diverse problems it was a credit to them all and a pleasure to watch , some terrific acting from so many of them ( especially Dr Nolan and Alvie )..but as for ...Hugh Laurie .... its official, he is the best actor on tv or film at the moment BY FAR ...so many emotions can grip you whilst you are watching him , within minutes , you want to.... smack him and shake him ,.. then kiss him and hold him ,(and more ).. cry , ..laugh ,.. cringe , ..aplogise for him ,.. swell with pride for him .. , he is just WONDERFUL ,...and the love scenes ...OMG.... HE IS SOOOOO SEXY ,when he started to dance (so unexpected )I had a lump in my throat *GULP* I would give all I own to charity for him to dance with me and look at me the way he looked at Lydia ..phew .. LOL .... and the tears from House just blew me away , another moment when one wanted to just hug him.

No hallucinations or dreams , just very clever casting and exceptional writing to bring so much out of House and to let the audience learn so much about him , I have watched it 10 times already ..... and find something new each time I watch it ....last year everyone was complaining about other characters lives being highlighted on House ,and yet we knew so little about him , this was a way of showing us many aspects of House's mind all in two joint episodes..Masterful ..
