I'd add: Listen to Hermione. She's always right (except in the last book with the deathly hallows, but shhh)

I would ussaly say, follow your instincts but to Harry it would be definetly, listen to your Elders. His intuition lead to many deaths of his beloved ones. For examples Sirius, if Harry listend to Dumbldore, Hermione and Snape he would learn how to use occlumency and Voldemort couldnt manipulate him and make him think that he is torturing Sirius. So Harry wouldnt rush into the Ministry and Sirius wouldnt came to rescue him, so wouldnt get killed!
