I have decided to write this artigo because I've noticed that a lot of people have doubts about the Harry Potter movies.
First of all, let me say that one of my biggest pet peeves is when people call themselves "major Harry Potter fans" but have never read the books. I do not think that you can be a Harry Potter fã just por watching the movies, and I'm pretty sure anyone who has read the books will agree with me on this.
Having said that though, the other dia one of my friends asked me:
"Why were the Harry Potter filmes made?"
She asked this pergunta because she felt like the filmes "did not live up" to the book, or that they "weren't as good".
My answer to this would definitely be: You are Right. The filmes are not as good as the books, I agree. But my problem is that, I think, many people are underestimating the movies.
The books have a LOT of details in them, not to metion they are fantasia books. They are stories with dragons, giants, wizars, magic, castles, etc. Anything with just ONE of these detailes would be pretty hard to turn into a movie.
People's main point when arguing against the filmes is: 'They leave so much stuff out'.
Of course they do! These are 2 hora long filmes versus 600 pages of book. Imagine how hard it would be to turn these books into movies!
They can definitely NOT include as many things as we would like them to. They just need to include plot, and naturally the sub-plots don't usually make it in.
My whole point with this is: To really enjoy a Harry Potter movie it is essential to go into the movie theatre with a different mind set. You have to go in, KNOWING that this will not be 100% exactly like the book. It will be different, things will be cut out, and maybe your favorito part won't be included.
It is normal that as you go out of the theatre you might be thinking: "Aww I wish they included the part with __________". But once we get pass the disappointment of that, is when we can really enjoy the films.
Once people accept these facts, I think we will be able to appreciate the filmes much more. Because, when thinking about it, I realize that the things that are created with the movie are pretty amazing.
Clearly they will never be as good as the books, which is why there is not even a point in comparing them. (I know it's hard not to, but I wish it didn't happen)
As for the filmes themselves, I think they are as good as they can be, and I couldn't really ask for much more!

2. Luna is a true Ravenclaw, underneath all that quirkiness, there is a layer of intelligence. She's the one who led Harry to the Grey Lady and she spoke the last words for Dobby.
3. No matter, how flawed you are, Luna will always see the good things about you.
4. Luna doesn't care what you think of her, she's different and proud of it. For example, she always wears her rabanete earrings and Spectra-specs, and she doesn't care if it looks odd.
