Chapter 9: What's in the Mail Today?
As soon as we got in the room, we were showered with questions.
"Where were you?We were waiting for you after dinner."said Nix, as calmly as always
"I saw you leave with Harry!Where did you all all go?" Em nearly screamed out.
"You left with Harry?"
"What did you do?"
"HEY!!" that go their attention."Look long story short, we went to the forbidden corridor on the third floor." I explained
"Really?Well I'm happy you three survived,it would be terrible to have three of my roommates die a painful death."
"It WOULD be horrible. Then there would be no mais people to annoy.I do enjoy making you angry."
"So I guess you don't wanna hear the story then,do ya Em?" I said
"Now when did you hear me say that? Come on, tell us!"
We told them the story of what happened and they were both freaked out,well Emily at least, Nix was just doing her own thing,as always.
"What!They have a giant 3-headed monster in the school?"
"Well that sounds like a fascinating creature. Maybe I should tell my father about it."
"Um,okay you do that.But get this, we think it's guarding something." said Hermione
"Well whatever it is it's well guarded cause I am NEVER going back in there again!"said Michy
"What's wrong?Don't want to pay big ol' Fluffy another visit" I say "Nah, I'm only kidding I don't want to either.One of the scariest things in my life!"
While Hermione slept,we kept on talking about what could possibly be under the trap door.I am a very curious person, and the trapdoor was really getting to me, I couldn't let it go for anything in the world.Well except for another nightmare.
It was pretty much the same like the last one, except it was Michy instead of Harry, and surrounding her were the people I never wanted to see again, The ones that taunted me for 2 years,before I came to Hogwarts.They were just there, laughing with her, like they did before.I wish I could turn them into toads so bad, and then I woke up. I wiped the sweat trickling down my forehead and cleaned of the eye boogers before finally changing and going down to breakfast.

All through the seguinte day,I couldn't help thinking about what happened last night,and my dream. I walked into the Great Hall for breakfast and found I wasn't the only one thinking about the giant dog.Harry and Ron were deep in discussion about it.
"It's either really valuable or really dangerous" said Ron
"Or both" said Harry
"Are you guys talking about what was it that was guarded por the giant fluff ball?"
"Yeah, and Harry suspects its what Hagrid took from the cofre that almost got robbed, remember?"
"Oh yeah. You really think it's that?"
"I don't think.I know" assured Harry
Meanwhile Hermione and Michy were the least bit interested of what was under the giant dog.All Michy cared about was never crossing paths with it again and Hermione was refusing to speak to any of us, which is actually a good thing cause who wants a bossy know-it-all to follow you around? All I really wanted was to get back at Malfoy, and well a week later I succeeded.

As the owls flooded into the Great Hall as usual, and long,thin package carried por six large owls was the big attention-grabber.I was just as interested as anyone else,but I decided not to show it,but that didnt stop me from being amazed at the fact that it landed seguinte to me, right in front of Harry.Right after the owls left another owl dropped a letter on topo, início of the package.Harry looked at the paper as if it was a golden ticket to Willy Wonka's chocolate Factory,which made me wish Hermione would turn into a giant blueberry, and that Malfoy would be deemed "Bad Egg" and be thrown into a furnace.

Harry showed Ron and me what it said:
DO NOT OPEN THE PARCEL AT THE TABLE.
It contains your new Nimbus Two Thousand but I don't want everybody knowing you've got a broomstick or they'll all want one. Oliver Wood will meet you tonight on the Quidditch feild at 7:00 for your first training session.

"A Nimbus Two Thousand!" Ron moaned enviously."I never even touched one!"
We left the hall as fast as we could,wanting to open it before class, when we were blocked por Malfoy and his idiots.He grabbed the package from Harry's hand and felt it.
"That's a broomstick,"he said,throwing it back to Harry with a mixture of jealousy and spite on his face. "You'll be in for it this time,Potter,first years aren't allowed them."
Ron couldn't resist a comeback.
"It's not any old broomstick"he said "it's a Nimbus Two Thousand.What did you say you have at home, Malfoy,a Comet Two Sixty?" Ron grinned at Harry "Comets look flashy, but they're not in the same league as the Nimbus"
Oh come on Ron!You idiot. You just gave him something to get back at you.You never gloat about a material object unless you have it,especially if you're poor.
"And how would you know,Weasley,you couldn't afford half the handle," Malfoy snapped back "I suppose you and your brothers have to save up twig por twig."
I knew he was gonna say something like that. Before Ron could answer,Professor Flitwick appeared at Malfoy's elbows.
"Not arguing I hope,boys"
I cleared my throat.
"And girls" he adds after spotting me and Alison.
"Potter's been sent a broomstick,Professor" said Alison. What a snitch.
"Yes,yes that's right Ms. Finnigan" Said Flitwick, beaming at Harry.Wait. SHE'S Seamus' sister?No wonder he said he doesn't get along with her. He told us she was in Slytherin, but this is just horrible.
Flitwick continued to talk."Professor McGonagall told me all about the special circumstances, Potter. And what model is it?"
"A Nimbus Two Thousand,sir"said Harry. I was fighting not to laugh at the look of horror on Malfoy's face. "And it's really thanks to Malfoy here that I got it,"he added.
We headed upstairs, trying to hold our laughter, me not succeeding,from Malfoy's obvious rage and confusion.The funniest was what we overheard after Flitwick left.
"Calm down Drackie, it's not good to get that angry."
"Shut up Alison!"
Oh man!Drackie? Really?She must be tight now.
"It's true though.If he hadn't stolen Neville's Remembrall I wouldn't be on the team."
"So I suppose you think that's a reward for breaking the rules"came an angry voice just behind us.It was Hermione, stomping up the stairs following us.
"I though you weren't speaking to us?" said Harry.
"Yes,don't stop now"said Ron "it's doing us so much good."
Hermione marched away with her nose in the air.

manteiga "Beer" recipe from Harry Potter I made it myself. Its sorta like hot chocolate but without chocolate. You take 1 or if for two people 2 cups of leite put it on the stove keep it from boiling. You just want it hot but you dont want it to really boil. Ok add a cup of doce de manteiga, butterscotch, molho de caramelo schnapps. Then a splash of vanilla extract. A half of cup of sugar. Then a couple of spoon fulls of vanilla flavor coffee creamer. add a little yellow comida coloring. And a tsp of butter. Then topo, início with WHipped cream!!
