Okay, so Is anyone else as tired of the Twilight vs. HP argument? Well, I personally prefer Twilight, but Harry Potter is also very good. I think that people should just shut the hell up over it! Every once in a while, someone will talk badly about Twilight and I will defend it, but it is still ridiculous to argue over such nonsense.

_madz_ i read harry potter and fell in love with the series then i read twilight and discovered i love it just as much! they are both amazingly written with great story lines, but they are really different! its like comparing...i dunno, but two really different things lol i love both of them, the half-blood prince movie was amazing and i can't wait for new moon!!

Frizzhead I prefer harry potter but SERIOUSLY EVERYONE get over which is better and if u prefer 1 keep it 2 yourselves i am so sick of hearing oh robert bite me.....or some obsessive hp comment i will attack u have been warned :) Just before people start thinking i am a psycho i am just stating that we need to move on with our lives

VAMPirella1997 Some ppl lyk harry potter, & some lyk twilight. Its lyk how sum ppl lyk bannana's and uvas lyk apples (sorri, cudnt thnk of a betta comparison!), but u dnt get ppl agruing bout tht!! i lyk twilight and harry potter. I prefer twilight, but they r both rlly awesome storii's.

flying_twiks I don't even get the comparison. It's really annoying cause this causes most of the people who prefer one to bash the other on certain things. I haven't even read harry potter, but my friend says it's good so I'll just take her word for it and leave it that, I'm not gonna say anything about it. Yay, I'm happy now!

Bubblez-Rox yes! I like them both!! I fall in love with romance stuff but I love how HP is so exciting... though I prefer HP I don't mind Twilight. Both Harry Potter and Twilight fans can go overboard and its so stupid! Thank you for this thread thingy :P

Vixela The feud exists because the media started it with comparing them on Best Seller lists (especially when BD beat out DH) and etc. and TwiHards took the fodder from the media and whacked HP fans over their heads. Us, Potterites, are just trying to hit back.

-ToujoursPur Yeah, but the "Twilight" guys (or shall I say: girls who are whinier then Bella, and that are still waiting for Edward) don't seem to get that Twilight will never ever be like Harry Potter. Twilight never had those fans outside the library, they only had girls screaming for: "ROBERT CULLEN! HE MAKES US SOOOO WETTTTTTTT" when the truth is, that on Harry Potter 4, nobody dared looking at him. Ahem, besides me. :$ So yeah. :)

kellysimona honestly i prefer HP, but in a logical way! i'm totally addicted to HP, and i know why: everything is perfect, the couples are great, it has an amazing plot and keeps me on the edge of my seat all the time. (and the whole Snape thing, wow!) Twilight- i don't get why i like it, after all (remember i am a Twilighter) it's horribly written, has no plot, no character development, the characters suck.... i really don't get why everyone is so obsessed u guys thinking Voodoo, cause I definitely am :D

ToyletGnome I think the whole argument is stupid, however, it is not without good reason. USA Today said "Move over Harry Potter" and it was printed on the BACK COVER of Breaking Dawn. Harry Potter fans, like myself, are obviously going to defend this ridiculous claim as I am yet to see ANY evidence which proves it worthy of this title. They are completely different and shouldn't be compared but I, along with fellow Potter supporters and anti-Twilighters will continue to keep up a debate with Twilight fans until they stop claiming Twilight is better, because I honestly believe it's not.

HPHedgehog actually. that's why they created an entire fan place called "harry potter vs. twilight". so people can debate about it.

It was the time between the fourth and fifth Harry Potter books and right after Bella leaves Jacob for Edward in the Twilight series when IT happened.
James, the evilest of the evil, had no money. He knew his antagonist part required him to have money. He needed money. There was only one thing to do....
He stepped into the swirling nothingness, and segundos later turned up in a gloomy, slimy hallway. "Are you here, Lord Voldemort?"
The dark shape slid out of the shadow. "More money, James?" He said cooly. "We may both be the antagonists of our books, but you do owe me...."

She told Astrid about this book series called Twilight, Rhonda said that she read the books and that they were really good. Astrid then went to Borders and bought the three books. When she got home, she opened up the first book and started to read away. Astrid then decided that she liked it too. A dia later, she read New Moon, only this time, Astrid didn't like it as much as Twilight. Wishing to continue leitura after the slight disliking, she read Eclipse hoping it would be better...

lets say that bella and hermione were off friends (really off). Hermione is at hogwarts where she is happy and bella is at forks with her vamp buddies where she is happy. And they know each other's secrets. One day, Hermione wrote bella a letter.

Dear Bella Swan,

I have heard about your acts in Forks and how your boyfriend, edward broke up with you. I feel really sorry for you. Then you found him again in Volterra, Italy and you started going out with him again. My opinion might not matter in this but I feel as if I should tell you about this. I am afraid that you might be a little bit obssessive....
