Yeah, I've received hate-messages from Twilight fans. Just debate it, but don't be rude. Whatever you do, as tempting as it may be, do not sink down to their level. Politely debate back to them. They can't really argue their point forever, and often either give up or give in... unless they use, "you're just jealous!" In that case, you can fight back as well. Talk about how it's silly that they think you're jealous of SMeyer's pathetic writing, while you're a fã of a bigger writer (ex. JK Rowling) who has made much mais money, had much mais success and much mais praise than SMeyer could ever hope for. :D

dont be rude. just slap them some FACTS. Leave the painful realizations for them, heehee..

Yep telling me not to be rude eventhough I wasn't rude in the first place

From... one person. It wasn't that bad, though. I just ignored her until she stopped. The reason why I didn't reply to her was because her spelling and grammar were so bad that I couldn't understand her, even when I read the messages over and over again. It's also hard to read when they are talking in all caps. But I found some cuss words and Twilight-related words in the messages, so that's how I was able to know it's a hate message.

Just ignore the person. Or set them straight with the facts.

I haven't got one yet.

The best way to handle them is to hit them with logic. They'll not bother you again. :)

I do but I tell them that it's an opinion and they need to grow up and accept it

We really need to pity these people... for they ARE crazy.
