Everyone over the world knows Dia das bruxas is a time for fun and sweets. -Children

Everyone knows that Dia das bruxas is a time where we should be scared as the anjos da noite and the living forcefield is at it's weakest. -Celtics

Everyone knows Dia das bruxas is the time to egg houses and do knock a door run. -Teens

Everyone knows Dia das bruxas is stupid and kids just mess with you it is STUPID. -Adults

These are opinions of most people ,but not all and that is what they think the meaning of Halloween.Though when you read many artigos on here and they put the meaning of Dia das bruxas like this:

Dia das bruxas is what many years atrás Celts believed the dead on what we call 'Halloween' can come through.Now we can still have ghost in our houses ,but this night anything could get through vampiros or devils ,but now we don't believe this.If you think about Dia das bruxas again it is where you get to know your rua and say "DEATH we are NOT afraid of you" (a mais modern view) what if that is not all the meaning why does on every holiday Christians or sometimes other religions put a certain value behind it?

My pergunta is natal and Easter focus on jesus and trust ,except Dia das bruxas why won't people just leave everyone to have fun without someone saying today is not about horror filmes it is about the values jesus taught us.WRONG.I am a Christian ,but my life does not revolve around church values so here is what I think the meaning further behind Dia das bruxas is nothing to do with SWEETS,CHRISTIANS or EGGING HOUSES.


Dia das bruxas is the best holiday of them all ,because:
1.You can be yourself no need to go out trick or treating in rosa, -de-rosa with make up on you can be a pretty nurse if your an adult or for kids a revolting zombie.
2.You can go and be scared all you want when it is has gone dark(a haunted house is one way to do this).
3.They are lots of spooky stories waiting to be told at a sleepover or at party along with games.
4.You can go with your mates to a party at night or trick or treating.
5.You can watch scary filmes and see who is scared.
6.You can make your house scary.
7.It is fun.

So this Dia das bruxas forget about what you think and go further and it is so simple nobody sees the meaning.They think so hard on it that they are wrong so just forget what you know and think about the basics.Now you read this just think about what you think Dia das bruxas means and did you think too hard.





I wrote this from my view of the Halloweens I had so far.
I am not an adult I am classed as a young teens being 13 so I might have some mistakes.
