*spoilers and negative opinion: It wasn't terrible but it wasn't good. I loved Santana and the New York storyline was (once again) more compelling than the Lima one. The Will/Finn and Blaine/Sue feuds were horribly stupid and the performances awkward. A third of the glee club wasn't even there this week. I've got to be honest, I don't believe Finn is much better, if at all, than Brody. Yeah he's supposed to be the hero and everything but if you look at everything each person did, FInn's made different, but major mistakes. The support for Unique was very good and positive. I was unimpressed with the Jarley interactions, and with Ryder (who I don't like much but don't care even more).. I don't even know- this episode seemed to be all over the place.

SPOILER ALERT

@CDB, I have to disagree. I didn't care about the NY side to be honest, but I also think that Santana shouldn't have brought Finn to see Brody in the first place. She knew it would cause that much trouble between those two. Also, I preferred the Will/Finn feud over the Blaine/Sue feud, though the songs they performed were really great. Jarley was okay, and I'm glad nothing worse happened between the two of them. I agreed and disagreed with what Ryder said and did in this episode. Yes, he didn't know if he should refer Unique as a boy or a girl; but he told her what she was on the outside instead of the inside. The inside is what counts. What pissed me off the most was two things: (1) the fan service for Blaine in this episode - wait, this whole SEASON - and (2) the absence of Sugar, Joe, and Brittany. Had they forgotten that Brittany was head cheerleader? Yet they give the spot - or at least the co-captain spot - to Blaine. Like, what the f*ck? That thong thing was especially stupid, too. Like, come on. And Joe and Sugar will be gone for, like, three or four episodes. When the hell will Ryan understand that he can't keep neglecting them like this? At least Brittany returns in the next episode, but this is unacceptable.

Uh, Brody is a prostitute and he's in a relationship with Rachel! He's a lying cheat along with that! I realize that Finn has made mistakes, but come on, Brody is far worse! Finn proved his love for Rachel in this episode by going to New York and standing up to that guy, who BTW deserved it! I was rooting him on all the way! Also swooned when he called Rachel his future wife :-) And I liked Santana going at Brody too :-) Also enjoyed the Jarley interaction. Hope Marley sticks with Jake (no offense to Ryley fans) :-) And no offense to you either Crime-Drama-Bee, JMO :-)

@fetchgirl- I agree that it was stupid (and OOC b/c she still -shouldn't- like Finn after S3) for Santana to ask Finn to come to NY. In all honestly the Lima storylines are dragging for me. I was sad Sugar and Britt weren't there (and I hate when people magically disappear on this show because sometimes they never come back lol) but I honestly don't care about Joe. He doesn't add anything for me and he doesn't say one thing most of the time except maybe sing. Matt Rutherford 2.0.

@Shannon1982. Yes Brody is a prostitute but really only his lying and cheating is the bad thing. He's an adult- he can make his own decisions. So if he decides he can make money that way, then fine. The problem is his relationship with Rachel. and lying and cheating isn't exactly new to Finn and Rachel. Finn sleeping with San and lying about it. Rachel making out with Puck to spite Finn, just for instance.

If Rachel showed Finn (and not if he inferred- there's a difference) any interest in getting back together, AND if Brody was hurting Rachel and physically keeping her from being with Finn (which he clearly wasn't since she was the one who went back to Lima and LIED to Brody), then maybe the 'future wife' quip would have been more acceptable. But they're not dating, not in a relationship, and Rachel is completely unaware of Finn's feelings atm, which made it unacceptable. Then the posessiveness, which came off as dangerous as he was also angry, and the violence, because Brody was already down. Plus Finn threw the first punch when he could have just batted Brody's hands off him, or verbalized. This is what worries me about Finchel.

Thanks for the insight, though, you both.
