Well, not usually anyway. Sometimes if there's a bird out there or a neighbor pulling out of the alley he will. I don't leave my dogs outside unsupervised for long though. Just long enough to do their business and come back in.

Not like barking all the time, no. She does bark when she want to come back in the house, or when someone she do not know is walking up to the house.

my german shepherd will bark if someone he doesnt know or doesnt regonize is walking up 2 the house,he will do wat he feels is the right thing 2 do,which would be barking until the person leaves

I have mine dog in flat .. and in this few years I heard him bark only once .. he is a real gentelman ;)

nope , they love it outside , they hate being indoors , well unless it's the family's dinner time ;D

Well yes and no .. i work with 7 german shepherd and only 2 of them bark when i let them in the yard

My GSD only barks if I leave him out for more than 15 minutes, he can't come in because he's on a chain. (He can jump the fence.)

mine barks and wines when we leave the house. but she doesnt do anything when shes in the backyard by herself! but she does if shes getting bored or if she wants to come back inside or if she gets scared.
