Not sure. Maybe she had her reasons. Anyway it was good for Petyr. And that's all I care about.

I don't think she was planning on getting the Vale army until the last second. Otherwise she would have told Jon. They really needed the extra men, but Sansa owes Petyr now, so it was probably a last minute hail Mary.

She's absolutely stupid concerning this. Maybe instead of saying 'Rickon is dead by now, Jon', she could have postpone the battle one more day and than negotiate with Ramsay, at that time with bigger numbers than he had. Why does no one see it? Everyone's like 'Wow, Sansa said "You're gonna die Lord Bolton, sleep well", she's so badass now'... Wrong, she's the reason all those loyal Stark bannermen and Wildlings fell.

I think she was not sure if she could get the Vale army, but she left to go get them immediately. Maybe the thought didn't come to her until after she had left camp. Either way, I'm sure she wasted no time once she had it in her head and within her grasp. It was obvious that Jon was hard to talk to since he kept insisting that he knew so much because of his experience instead of asking her questions and finding out what he could about his enemy from a reliable character witness.

A lot more cunning, planning, and smarts could have been used in the entire affair, especially with a family member at risk. Scouts sneaking toward the castle ready to move in - or even spy beforehand would have given them an intelligent advantage. Jon and Sansa knew ALL the instructions and outs of their childhood home, so it's a little unbelievable that the fight was just one mass of people moving toward another in a field.

But all in all, the circumstances the producers set up proved for a very entertaining episode. Especially the different elements of battle they brought in: Jon being drawn out, Ramsay ordering his archers to shoot into the crowd with his own people there while Davos did not, the trampling, the Phalanx, and of course the madness of battle.

And whether Sansa is still shedding her (in my opinion) stupid younger self or not, I definitely think she made The right move in doing what she did. It shows promise that she will mature to be a much smarter woman. I really didn't like her as a girl. She was so ...bi***y and prissy. Even when horrible things happened to her she seemed whiny about it instead of throwing her mind into how to fight back. In my opinion she has a foundation of weakness, but hopefully this recent success, seeing the man who would steal her home and violate her and her family suffer justice, will give her confidence where her arrogance was, and courage to take charge instead of being weak.

I think as we will see in the next episode, there will be unpleasant consequences of asking for their help. Sansa would have known this...

Yea sansa will NEVER OWE Petyr after he gave her to a monster like Ramsay. Rickard was dead the moment he was given 2 Ramsay smh. He's siiiiiccck! She should be told him it could've possibly prevented a lot of solidiers deaths sheesh. I APPRECIATED The close combat seeing how it felt in a real medieval BATTLE. it was genius

I don't think they died because of that, but she could have mentioned it.

No one died because of her, jfc. I'm pretty positive she wasn't entirely sure they were coming, otherwise she'd have mentioned it. But, maybe that's just me thinking that.
