Susan thought about her idea. It was crazy, but it might just work. She managed to get Rachel to put the dagger in the árvore for the night. She pulled out a thick blanket she had packed, and, soon, both of them were sleeping.

As Susan noticed the dagger hidden in Rachel's clothes, her coração leapt to her throat. She was that depressed, huh? Without interrupting the hug, she carefully started to reach over to the dagger.

Rachel was glad to be back in her sisters arms again. As she felt the dagger shift slightly, she also felt Susan stiffen a little. Susan didn't know exactly where she was running to, but she just kept going. She ran straight out of that town. She ran for miles and miles, until she was in the absolute middle of nowhere. She stopped por a spring of water under a tree, had a drink, sat down and cried.

Rachel was having the time of her life in the big city. She was living in a wonderful apartment, and had lots of good 'friends'. Well, at least she acted like she was having the time of her life. But, deep down inside, she felt empty.

Back in the country, Susan had double the work, because Rachel was gone. She Never complained, though. She just kept doing life as best she could. She too acted like she was quite happy. But inside, she was longing for Rachel to come back, so they could have those times that they used to have.
