It was morning, and amber noticed a difference in the temperature. It was about 10 degrees colder. Someone was missing. Amber suspected hans.
Kowalski burst in, all hiding and happy, "did ya hear, did ya hear, did ya hear it?!?!?!" he shouted, shaking her por the shoulder.
"what, that hand is gone?" she asked.
"no!" he pushed her aside ad slamme the door.
"we get a free day!" he said, raising his flipper for a high-five.
"speaking of Hans, where I he?"
"I don't know," kowalski shrugged his shoulders.
"he's a butt, a big, fat, mean-butt!" amber laughed at her own words.
the two just stared blindly around, waiting for another to break the silence.
"so? i was wondering..." kowalski began.
"judging por the basket in your hand i would think your proposing a picnic?" amber got out a sketch pad.
"um... yes!" kowalski said.
"no..."
"what"
"i said no, kowalski."
he looked dissapointed, "why?"
"well, i kinda need to do a few things"
"like?"
"clean my room"
"you're always lazy!!"
"update my facebook"
"i hacked that Tuesday, you have no friends!"
"further my writing"
"it'll never get published!"
amber threw down her sketch pad and stood up, "ARE YOU JUST MAKING EXCUSES? MAYBE I DONT WANT TO HANG OUT WITH YOU! I'M NOT TRYING TO BE MEAN, BUT GET AWAY FROM ME!" she stormed out the door and through the woods, leaving kowalski staring after her.
kowalski picked up her sketch pad and read the first sentance,
" 'is there nothing one cannot do, with but some help? not from your friend, but from your enemy"...
