The OFD (Official fanpop Dictionary) was first published in 2009. The OFD is a compilation of words the etymology of which can be found in the roots of fanpop history. There is no one author of the OFD, as it is made possible por the generous donations of several committed Fanpoppers (see dictionary below). Common usage of words in the fanpop vernacular is also added to the dictionary. If you wish to make a contribution to the OFD, por all means add your word to the list in the form of a comment.

The Official fanpop Dictionary

Blisslikethistition (noun): See DrDevienciation.

Chelify (verb): The act of chelification; To be changed or be effected in some way por chel395.

Cinderate (verb): To mediate situations with impecably unbiased discussions and explainations. This specific type of mediation often includes offering to make people cookies!

Cinderisation (noun): See DrDevienciation.

Dazl (noun, adjective, verb, adverb): fanpop equivalent of the word "smurf" (though in no way associated with the race of evil blue beings) and can be substituted into any sentence and still make sense. Ex: "Dude, I totally dazled your Mom last night." "No dazling way!" "Yeah, man. I dazled the dazl out of her."

Debsicle (noun): A Frozen - Uma Aventura Congelante and tasty treat in the shape of amazondebs.

DrDevienciation: 1. (noun) The act of providing a concise argument within a conversation or debate. "I was able to drdevience my debate, and won my point". See also Cinderisation, or Blisslikethistition.
2. (verb) To credit an original owner with an image. Ex: "I drdevienced that image"

Fanaholic (adj): 1. someone with an addiction to fanpop
2. caused por too little fanpop
-fanaholic dehydration
3. a place where there are a lot of fans
-fanaholic spot
4. a weird mophed fanpopper made from aholic and gregandersfan

Fandom (noun): 1.a part of the internet ruled over por fãs e.g. 'the castelo of fandom looks very fanpopic'
2.a realm or area of activity in which fãs dominate 'the fandom was busy with picks that morning'
3.highest classification of the internet 'fanpop is the fandom of all the websites'

Fanplop (verb): What will happen to your backside if you eat too much flanpop.

Fanpopable (adj): That which is able to be on Fanpop.

Fanpopdom (noun): The magical kingdom of Fanpop.

Fanpopesque (adj, adv): A word used to describe behavior welcomed por the fanpop community. Ex: "Users making picks that say 'do you like me?' are not fanpopesque."

Fanpopic (adj): 1. Surpassing the usual or ordinary on Fanpop, particularly in scope or size
2. Heroic and impressive in quality
Example: That soapbox was Fanpopic and will go down in history as the greatest thing ever written.

Fanpopiversary (noun): A Fanpop-related anniversary. Ex: This mês marks Temptasia's one-year fanpop anniversary. Happy Fanpopiversary!

Fanpopper (noun): A person who has made a fanpop account who is male.

Fanpoppette (noun): A person who has made a fanpop account who is female.

Fanpoppia (noun): The new name for fanpop Island as decided link.

Fanpoppies (noun): The annual awards for outstanding achievements on Fanpop. Past, present and future Fanpoppy Awards can be followed link.

Fanpopping (verb): The term used to describe what you are doing on Fanpop.

Fanpopular: (adj.) The state of being well-liked, famous, or "in" on Fanpop. Ex: "Have you heard of amazondebs? Gosh, she is so fanpopular these days." Or "That old pick? You're behind the times, that was fanpopular weeks ago." Also, Fanpopularity, the noun of fanpopular.

Fanpopulation (noun): The entire population of the fanpop community, including all fanpoppers, fanpoppettes, the fanpop 4, and visiting users.

Fanporsche (noun): A Porsche fanpop version! Ex: I just bought a Fanporsche today! Can be used with any car/transportation, ex: Fanplane, Fanship, Fanskyline.

Flanpop (noun): a light creamy sobremesa with all the deliciousness of Fanpop.

Fof'd(verb): 1. To win fã of the Fortnight a.k.a. F.O.F. Ex: Temptasia was an all around good fã so she got fof'd.

Funpop: 1) (noun) The act of having fun on Fanpop. 2) (noun) The spot in which one can find fun, interesting things on the internet, located link.

johnminh: 1) (noun, slang) From the phrase "pull a johnminh" which in no way relates to tugging on any part of the body, least of all johnminh's body. But rather, refers to saying something witty with naughty subtext.

LNW: 1) (noun, verb) To lie, or a lie. Ex: "He LNWed me when he said he was going to write me a message later." 2) (verb) A prank, generally involving faking a death, whether your own or someone else's. 3) (slang) Part of the phrase "to be LNWed," which means to have one's fake identity revealed on the Internet.

MySpaced (verb): 1. To make a mistake on Fanpop, to mess something up Ex: I can't believe you would do something that stupid. You totally MySpaced it.

Oldmovie (verb, adj): See "OM."

OM: Abbreviated form of "oldmovie." 1) (verb) To perform an act of extreme intelligence; Could also stand for committing an act that seems intimidating. Ex: "You totally OMed me!!" 2) (adjective) Intelligent or very very very smart; Could also be intimidating Ex: "That OM fórum was fantastic!"

Redal (noun): abbreviation of Red (Fanatic) Medal. Ex: I just got my first redal, and I'm super happy!

smurfy (adjective): 1. Describes the epitome of repulsion and everything that is wrong in the universe. Ex: MySpace is smurfy.

Tempt: (1) v. To Tempt. The act of spreading good will. "Wow, she's really tempting the room. All the tension is dissolving away."
(4) adj, Temptable. Beautiful, warm, adorable. "That new pic you posted is positively temptable!"

Unfanpopular: (adj.) Opposite of fanpopular. The state of being passe, outdated, or out of favor on Fanpop. Ex: "Ew, all that user does is start flame wars, he is SO unfanpopular." or "Wow, you're just hearing about that article? Yeah, I know, it's so unfanpopular."

Wikipediaed: 1) (verb) (quoted por chel1395 link.) To look something up on Wikipedia.
Ex. "I didn't know what the capital of Michigan was so I Wikipediaed it." 2) The deletion of fanpop from Wikipedia. Ex: "Aw, man, we've been wikipediaed again! Won't they ever let our fanpop artigo stay up?"

I'm not leaving, munchkins..I know you are slightly disappointed now and were waiting for some eDrama (or happy to see me FINALLY desert the pop to live on my farm full time and stop clogging your "answers") but it's just boring old me sharing my thoughts on reporting. Forgive me..it's Sunday..and I had the time.
I sometimes stumble across obvious spam (yes, I'm talking aboot you chinese shoe and handbag sellers!) on this site that has been there for months and I wonder why it was never removed. I also see quizzes where people have been informed of a mistake and yet months later the wrong quiz...

So last night, August the 2nd/3rd, depending on where you were, I witnessed a phenomenon I have not seen on the internet for quite some time, I've seen glimmers of it, hints and comments, but I've not had it so blatantly thrust in my face until last night. I am, of course, talking about unity. No, not unity against a 'common enemy' or a 'troll' as many people on the internet assume is unity, but genuine "I can just click something to make someone feel a little better" kind of unity.

As a rule, I wouldn't make a big deal about this, but it has been bothering me for a long time. I understand the importance of correct grammar, spelling, and the use of the proper punctuation, and what I am about to say has nothing to do with this. I also understand having an opinion that differs with another person, but when somebody makes a pick or writes a comment it takes time and effort to do so. What bothers me is when people leave mean comments about how either their pergunta is stupid or even how stupid the person is for making a pick.
