Can someone tell me why some of us support Gruvia

I ship Gruvia because of their compatibility. Gray is a character who has no problem showing his body, but is emotionally closed off. Juvia, on the other hand, is incredibly shy about her body, but so emotionally open. Their contrasting traits puts them in the situation were they push each other out of the comfort zone. Because of this Gray and Juvia have such an amazing effect on each other. Gray chased away her clouds with his kindness and gave her the sun. She, in return, is melting the ice walls around his coração with her warmth.

There is considerable amount of evidence to support that Gruvia isn't that one-sided in the first place. The way he reaction on Lyon's affection towards Juvia shows us that Gray was jealous. That he intended to peak on Juvia when she (and the other girls) was bathing shows us he is sexually attracted towards her. The fact that their unison raid is named, I quote, Gray's and Juvia's synchronizing attack of love.The fact that he contradicted his promise (walking the path of life with his nakama) to save Juvia does suggest for a fact that Gray holds romantic feelings for her. Authors don’t tend to use characters that are “just friends” in these types of situations. In conclusion Gruvia is far from a "one-sided love". If anything the proper way to describe their dynamic is - one side party with romantic feelings, other side left vague.

I would like to say that so far I have only mentioned their moments in the Grand Magic Games, I haven't even touched their moments in the current arc.

In the Tartaros Arc we see even mais Gruvia moments that support the idea that Gray has romantic feelings for Juvia. Gray is far from being in amor with Juvia. That will take considerable amount of time because Gray is tsundere (lol), but the mais intimate scenes these two get together shows us that Gruvia is getting closer into being canon.

Through the mangá their relationship is slowly developing. It's different that it was in the first place. Now they're really getting closer . And it's not just Juvia. While still a little fangirlish she's started to suppress her clingy-ness towards Gray. There are also a lot of hints, that he also started to like her. So it's a very strong possibility they'll end up together.

I ship them cause I don't really like Gray so I don't want him to be with a character I do like (Lucy, Erza...) and I don't particularity like Juvia either. Besides, Juvia loves Gray so why not?
