He had only met her for a brief moment but the Sheriff quickly realized he couldn’t get her out of his mind. He couldn’t remember the last time he had seen anyone new come to town. Her appearance brought an odd sense of hopefulness to him that he couldn’t place. Something he couldn’t remembering feeling in the longest time.
But now was not the time for this, she was probably already long gone por now, back to where ever she came from. And as for him he had his Sheriff duties that needed to be tended to. He had his nightly patrol of the town before heading home.
It wasn’t long before he only had one mais area of town to check out. The road leaving Storybrooke was last on his list. It often felt like a pointless place to check since rarely anyone left town, but still it was best to check just in case.
As he made his way down the road an odd sight caught his eye, something yellow. As he drove closer he could make out the object in pergunta better. It was a yellow buggy, it was the woman’s car he met earlier. It was Emma’s car.
He got out of his vehicle and rushed over to the car. It had slammed into the town’s sign as the passenger door hung open. He entered through the door and spotted Emma slumped over on the steering wheel. He gave her a gentle shake “Miss Swan?” he called, but didn’t receive a response. He tried again shaking her a bit harder this time “Miss Swan?” his voice a little mais concerned now. There was a small reaction but she was still out cold.
He leaned over and grabbed her wrist to feel for a pulse. It was still there thank goodness, he let out a relived sigh. As he looked her over she seemed to just be unconscious, but knew she should see a doctor and fast.
He unbuckled the seatbelt from around her then slipped his arms underneath her in order to scoop her up into his arms. He was surprised por how light she felt. As he pulled her out of the car her head slumped into his shoulder some. A small smile tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Regaining his focus he carried her over to his car and placed her gentley in the passengers assento of his squad car. She slid down a bit as he placed her in, a few loose strands of hair fell into her face. He reached his hand up to brush them from her face. His coração raced for a moment catching him off guard. Ignoring it he got into the drivers assento and glanced over at her before driving back into town.
He decided against taking her to Dr. baleia knowing if he examined her that he would surely denunciar back to Regina. Instead he took her to see a local doctor in which the townsfolk had simply nicknamed Doc. Upon looking her over the doctor revealed she was fine and just needed some rest.
With that out of the way Graham contemplated what to do with her now. Granny’s Inn was already closed for the night, the only placed he could think of he knew she would be seguro was back a the station. He could at least keep an eye on her there.
So that’s where he took her. One cell was already occupied por Leroy who luckily for him was already asleep. He opened the empty cell then carried her over to the cell’s cama and placed her down. Regina would be furious if she knew he was helping Emma, but as he stared at her for moment somehow he could care less what Regina thought about the situation.
“Sweet dreams Miss Swan.” He said quietly as he closed her cell door and walked into his office
