As with the last scene, I adore this, but just the competition now is really hard.

I agree. This scene is wonderful visually, but it is not my favorite.

This is just bleck.
yeah, bleck isn't really an adjective (or a word for that matter) but I can't think of another way to put it. Beast is so ugly this scene makes me laugh and want to puke at the same time.

^ ROFL.

Yeah, after Gaston's gone this film gets dreadfully boring.

"Please...please don't leave me. I love you." is losing?!? Come on.
I don't understand how it can be worse than the 1st scene, really.
It's touching, dramatic. Tears of real suffering do mean nothing for people, yes?
Well, okay, it's just my opinion. Kids are so spoiled nowadays.

^Yes, there are people who don't find it as amazing as I do. It's not a surprise for me. So what??
By the way I wrote that it's my opinion.

But you made it sound like people who don't agree with you are spoiled.

No, I didn't mean it. It's just shocking for me how they explain why they don't like it. Not this pick particularly.
The scene involving the death and suffering can't be described as boring. In any movie. Not only in my favourite movies.
And unfortunately here on Fanpop there are some fans (usually kids) who can discuss such scenes and even laugh. For me it's offensive. Even if it's an animated movie. And even if it happened that it's not the death.

And you know, I honestly don't understand why some fans react in such way, when they read my comments. My comments are not that offensive, like some fans write every day. Why is there such reaction when I write something?

^and yes, I didn't want to sound mean here, in the last paragraph. It's just a sincere question.

^Actually, I react to other comments as well. But it also depends on who's saying them. Straggy, for example, says incredibly rude and offensive things all the time, so they lose their meaning to me, so I don't take anything she says seriously because to me she has cheap taste. But when you, who are usually very polite and well-spoken, get upset, it surprises me, is all. ^_^

Double standards!? lol
Well, I can be provoked by all fans, whether he/she is rude or not.
Usually after reading some too mean comment I begin to write that I hate someone or something...

@ppv, you consider most of Mulan touching scenes boring, so do I for Beauty and the Beast. I don't think that the scene when Beast's "dying" is sad at all. Emotions during that scene don't touch me at all.

@cromulanfav: Touching? Which ones? When she returned to her dad? I don't think it's boring. And when they saw the burned village, I don't consider this moment boring at all. I think this movie has only these touching scenes.

I don't really care, and I don't want to get involved into a fight, debate or whatever, but on the countdown with Mulan scenes you said something like "All but the "I'll make man out of you" are rather boring" and one or two rounds before you said that you don't really like any of those scenes.

Yes, I don't like them. Because I dislike the movie. But if someone died in Mulan, I would never said it's boring.
And I've just checked my comment. I have to apologise, I should say:
All but "I'll make man out of you" and "Fa Zhou and Mulan reunited" are rather boring. It seems to me I didn't notice this scene.

^there's plenty of movies where death scenes are boring. I know you particularly like this one, but you have to understand not everyone thinks its as great as you do, and that doesn't make them wrong. I for one like it, but...

I have no idea why you are up against me. And don't you think when you teach me how to behave you act almost the same as I did when I wrote a comment about spoiled kids.
More strange in this situation is that I didn't write about you, or cromulanfav. But you began to attack me.
I wish I didn't write this comment. To be silent here is much more comfortable.

I'm not attacking you at all. I'm not yelling, screaming, or saying nasty things. I just don't understand why you said "kids these days are so spoiled". It just seemed to me that you were saying because they didn't like the death scene, or they think it's boring, they must be spoiled. But maybe I'm wrong, I don't know. I don't want to fight at all...

Did I sound attacking. Oh, well, i guess I can't help myself. But I really didn't mean to sound so. I just wanted to explain why some of the people would find that scene boring. I know you didn't think about me or princesslullaby, we just wanted to explain, not attack you.

Okay, girls, let's stop it. I'm not going to change my mind, and honestly don't want to explain why I think so.
Sorry if I was offensive toward you.
