Dude, /co/ has such an annoying Rapunzel fanbase. Maybe it's just cause of the whole feet fetish thing, but I just will never understand all the love for her everywhere.

Usually because their reasons for liking her are so shallow.

I think some of all the princesses fans annoy me such as
- Aurora because she is pretty
- Ariel because she's a mermaid and she has red hair
- Belle because she's "Smart" because she reads
- Jasmine because she's pretty

But some of the Ariel's fans annoy me the most because of the stupid reasons why they like her. You should like her for her personality.

Ones I can't really stand is Belle and Ariel.I like the charcters it's just the fan base of them that really annoys me! To me they are way overrated and everybody makes big deal about them all the time! And some people have nerve saying Rapunzel overrated? Well she is no where overrated as Belle and Ariel are.I'm constanly hearing Belle and Ariel this or that and drives me crazy! I'm sorry but it's my oppion.

Belle's fans being a close second. Most of the Tangled fans I have encountered on Tumblr are INSANE.

Because of the racism thing surrounding her. Sometimes people can't even criticise her without being accused of being racist, and that annoys me.
Possibly the same thing would happen with Mulan, but I'm yet to find somewhere on the internet that criticises her.

@Pocahontas1Fan- Really? I haven't been on Fanpop for a while, but every corner of the rest of the internet loves Rapunzel. She's probably just as overrated as "Belle and Ariel" (and in my opinion, more).

What I hate the most is when people act like Rapunzel is the ONLY Disney Princess that's worthy of actually being liked, so many people act like the other Princesses are completely inferior to her in every way. Not just talking about Fanpop, but in general. I've just seen it so much.

Belle this, Belle that. Ariel this, Ariel that.

Definitely! Because most of them persist that Ariel's bad qualities and decisions are actually good, even though they are obviously bad.

Although I still think this pick can be considered a little offensive... Because I read that I as a fan of Belle, Aurora and Rapunzel annoy people so much (I mean I am a fan of all of them)... Well, I do not care that much, but it is....... quite weird feeling.

^but we're not saying all fans. Also, BelleAnastasia, it's not black and white whether or not Ariel's decisions were bad or good.

I'm in general annoyed by fans who think that "their princess" is perfect and who take every little bit of possible critism as some kind of insult - and generally annoyed by this trend to put the three classic princesses in some sort of drawer on which is written "not modern/strong/feminist" and mix them together as if they are all one of the same character. I also dislike it when the princesses are getting reduced to her looks rather then their characters. But I can't say that one particular fangroup is more annoying than the other. And I don't think that there is such a thing as a "overrated" princess - "underrated", yes, but not overrated. If more people feel connected to Belle or to Ariel then to, let's say, Mulan, then there is nothing wrong with it.

Absolutely don't intend to offend anyone but I'm picking Belle because *some* people on Internet who praise her while constantly bashing other princesses made me like her and the movie less. It is a sad thing when fandom makes you love something less and that is what happened to me with Belle. I like her character and have nothing against fans, but when people say she is the only princess that was smart (because hey, she read the same romantic novel over and over! Yeah, well, Rapunzel did basically the same thing with those 3 books she had, but people however call her stupid...) and brave and selfless (despite other princesses imo being more selfless than her) I just get a little annoyed, especially each time you dare to criticize Belle you are being attacked.

I know where those who picked Ariel and Rapunzel are coming from, personally, as a big fan of both princesses I cansay that I only get defencive towards them when I feel like people are misjudging them. They are quite popular but with popularity comes some intense hate and I think that's the case with these two.

and Ariel and Belle fans...mostly because the hard core ones don't like to hear about their flaws...
