Personally, no, because I have a fear of the ocean, sharks, giant octopus's and drowning.
I can go in the waves, but that's the shore, not the 'ocean'...

I'd love it. A chance to explore the ocean, you could see things no human has seen (because there are parts of the ocean we have not yet managed to reach and study), get a closer understanding of marine life, especially if you were an Ariel-style mermaid, who could communicate with marine animals. Imagine the opportunity to communicate with animals like that. You would have access to worlds and information completely beyond human reach.
I also just love mermaids, swimming, and marine animals, and would love to be able to fully enjoy them, being among them, not needing to wear clunky equipment and come up for air to explore the ocean (even that I'd be lucky to do, never done anything like it *sigh*), and get to experience a completely different world.
I'd have so much to explore and learn it would be years before I risked starting to miss the internet and regret leaving land, lol.

Merman! I'd love to live in the sea I could start a new life under the sea. I could sing, dance(I'd probably be a better dancer underwater), explore, and be more confident in myself. I'd be able to have an awesome life. I'd give anything to be a merman and live in the sea and Atlantica or Atlantis whatever it's called.

no but I did BAD when I was little. We used to pretend we were when we swam. I even tried breathing underwater once but just got water up my nose and in my lungs & started to choke. LOL. Stupid me.
