I'm tired of the princes always being older than the princesses, and often being like more than 5 years older. I mean seriously, she'll be 22 when he's 30. That's a lot to me. 32 when he's 40! 37 when he's 45! Sorry, that's a big gap, 8 years. *sigh* The only disney human couple I can think of where the girl is definitely older than the guy is Megules. And for that reason, that couple will NEVER be last on my list. I appreciate that once in awhile the woman can be older. *sigh* Even if they were the same age or like a year apart...*sigh*
That's another reason now not to like the couple, I already thought they weren't a good match because of maturity levels, hers being the level of a 16 year old and his much older....*sigh* they always have the older guy get the younger girl, it's annoying. *siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
Unless I'm the one girl who's dream is NOT to get an older guy. Do most girls find older guys (and by older it can be like 3 years) attractive? I don't.
But honestly I'm biased, I consider 3 years difference pushing it.
By the way, isn't Tiana older than Naveen?

it reminds me of philip and aurora. when aurora was a baby, philip was...7 years old? that's kinda creepy to me
I do however agree that it would be refreshing to see a princess older than the prince but that goes against archetypal Americanised couples...sooo it will probably never happen in Disney.
Kida is older than Milo. Now THAT is a big age gap.
Will that mean that she'll look 30 when Milo's like 70? xP
For some reason Flynn and Rapunzel's relationship bothers me more than Phillip and Aurora's xD
Way to give away the ending. :(
Don't worry, it's not some big epic spoiler, that's just a side effect of the real action. No one really makes much of it.
He looked pretty younger to me.
Back to the question at hand, I think the only time a gap of that size is a problem (or makes for an uncomfortable situation), is when you're under the age of 18. I know that shortly after I hit college, that large a gap became a trivial thing to me. Even now, a few years later, if I were to date a guy that was 10 years older than me, I don't think it would be an issue. Nowadays, it depends on the guy's personality.
I guess it goes to show that age is merely a number when it comes to love.
ps I thought they were both 18 19 or 20 at first
