but i dont think a "disney princess" necessarily has to be an actual princess.
On the same note, why isnt kida considered a disney princess? She is an ACTUAL princess.

You got a point princesslullaby...I think Kida needs recognition too, especially if they are going to pimp Mulan out as a princess even though she was never royalty and did not marry royalty...so yeah what is up with that? I guess Atlantis just was not popular enough.

I love Mulan, I really do. But I just don't see her as a Disney Princess and I don't know why. She's great though.

as i've stated many times, she's not a princess. she wasn't born into and nor did she marry into royalty, so i really don't see why she's considered to be a princess.

Although she is not a princess in any means is the reason why i don't think she should be part of the line. Comparing her worth to the other princess's is wrong and slightly unfair. I feel as though that if being a "Disney princess" is about character and not royalty then Jasmine shouldn't be in the DP line. There were more princess's that should have been part of the line that weren't because of characteristics of the character. However what I have come to learn is that while she is not an actual princess. She is "Disney's" princess, for the simple reason of being a heroine in one of their movies. So its 50/50 for me
