I'm like Belle, but I absolutely LOVE Elsa and want to be like her, at least a little bit... Or at least Anna.

It's not that I hate Belle(in fact, she's my favourite classic princess, on tie with modern princess Elsa), I just want to have a few of Elsa's characteristics in me as well.

Belle is aloof and a snob. Tiana is also a know-it-all and snobbish. Anna can be too hyper. Elsa just is too much of a know-it-all (which was proved by her signature line, "You can't marry a man you just met!"), and she's untrustworthy ( she perpetually "bails" on Anna and everyone else when they need her the most!) *eyeroll*

Rapunzel is cute, but her constant bubbliness gets annoying after a while. Moana's wishy-washy "can I do this or not?" identity-crisis-personality quickly gets old. Merida's whiny "nobody understands what I want out of life" personality is cringe-worthy.

I much prefer the understated civility and stately wisdom of Cinderella, Aurora, and Pocahontas. I love the "I have a brain and I'm unafraid to actually use it" personality of Mulan. I like that Snow and Ariel are eternal optimists, who love happy times the most, and who crave romance. And I like that Jas takes no gender ***t from anyone.

So...I really don't want any of the personalities of the modern princesses, nor Belle's "everyone is beneath me" attitude. I will stick to the princesses who are in touch with themselves, and who show empathy towards others.

@wavesurf Elsa's signature line " you can't marry a man you just met", makes complete sense to me. You seriously can't do that.. I don't believe in the whole 'love at first sight' concept. Because you literally don't know anything about that person, what if he/she is not the right choice for you.

Again, this is just my opinion.

@Genevieve: We're not talking real life, here. We are talking Disney. None of the prior Disney princesses before Elsa married their princes the first time they met them! Therefore, Elsa's line is VERY HYPOCRITICAL.

I don't like Jennifer Lee inserting her "real-time dating advice" into my Disney entertainment. Disney is escapism. Jen should have kept dating tips to herself.

Frozen is satire, and not a real princess movie.

You were saying that I need to respect your opinion of dislike for Elsa and that is OK, but why do you argue with different opinions just in order to protect yours? Anyway, I love Elsa and will never choose anything I don't want even if there are many Elsa haters.

That is my opinion.

She's so calm, mature and remains optimistic even though her life is terrible; she keeps on believing that her wishes will come true and doesn't give up. I admire her inner strength so much.

But I really love all of the first eight and I find them admirable in different ways - ways I'd love to relate to. I agree with nearly all of @wavesurf's comment.

She just seems so energetic. My actual personality is much more like Cinderella, but I wish I was more energetic and carefree.

It would probably be a mix between Belle, Elsa and Mulan.

Belle isn’t necessarily one of my favorite DPs, but she leaves an impression. The way she handled Gaston’s disgusting proposal so gracefully...the way she is assertive to the Beast but not rude.

Belle. Because i'm like a mix of Ariel and Jasmine with a sprinkle of Anna's clumsy and Merida's spontanity. If only i can handle problematic men like Belle; polite, witty and dignified. My friends told me i'm either rude or flirty 🤣
