	sunnyfields picked Disney's Mother Gothel: I also like the witch from Into the Woods, but Mother Gothel from Tangled is so manipulative and a great villain. I honestly felt sorry when she died despite all the terrible things she did to Rapunzel, but that is what makes her such a great villain, as she was able to make me feel sorry for her as she was so desperately trying to hold onto life despite not really knowing love or having anything to live for. She could have learned a lot from Rapunzel. She could have learned to find a new dream, but she held onto her selfish dreams without pursuing happiness or relationships with those around her. posted over a year ago.
