SHANG??? Seroiusly? He was somewhat judgemental of Mulan whose actions were far more selfless and mature. And for all my hatred of him, he is very responsible and family-oriented. There is no way he would be fine with Merida's selfish and reckless behaviour, especially after his own father's death.

@cruella I think that's because both Merida and Shang did physical activities. It's same like when people though Mulan and Merida are similar due of same thing, when Mulan and Shang are actually less rebellious, more responsible and tradition-oriented.

Or Eugene, but I feel like Aladdin is less of a womanizer so I think Merida would get along better with him.
