princesslullaby picked Tiana:
Greed (Latin, avaritia), also known as avarice, cupidity, or covetousness, is, like lust and gluttony, a sin of desire. However, greed (as seen by the Church) is applied to an artificial, rapacious desire and pursuit of material possessions. Thomas Aquinas wrote, "Greed is a sin against God, just as all mortal sins, in as much as man condemns things eternal for the sake of temporal things." In Dante's Purgatory, the penitents were bound and laid face down on the ground for having concentrated excessively on earthly thoughts[citation needed]. Hoarding of materials or objects, theft and robbery, especially by means of violence, trickery, or manipulation of authority are all actions that may be inspired by Greed.

While none of the princesses really represent Greed, Tiana is the only one who longs for an actual material object (a restaurant) and is given the lesson to be happy with what she already has, although very poorly executed. Greed itself relates to a longing for material/earthly possessions.

although Ariel collects material possesions, this is not her end goal. She only collects those things to be closer to the human world, and would clearly gladly give them all up to be human.

MissCinico picked Rapunzel:
I actually wanted to say Pocahontas, but that's more her villain isn't it?

I was going to say Tiana, but she works hard for what she earns, and only wants enough to start her restaurant.

I think Merida and Ariel are both quite greedy, but both of them are dealing with a forced situation.

I think Belle is actually greedy. She wants more than her perfectly fine life, all the other princesses are super unhappy because of something being forced on them. Rapunzel too, she deliberately disobeyed her mom at the time so she could go see some god damn lights and even took someone's crown away so they'd take her. Prettygreedy.

princesslullaby picked Tiana:
Greed is the desire to obtain material objects for the possession of the object, the power the object provides one, the status it gives one or the the admiration others will have for you.

@Misscinico what you are describing above is more like gluttony or even pride. Greed literally relates to material possessions. Tiana does care about raising her status as seen in almost there.

wavesurf picked Tiana:
Basically, because Tiana is secretly jealous of Lottie ( although the film hides this really well).

MissCinico picked Rapunzel:
@princesslullaby, true but I feel like it's more envy like wavesurf mentioned she's jealous of others who can easily afford what she wants. Greed could fit in there too, but I feel like Rapunzel is more so since she actually uses underhandedness to get what she wants.

@misscinico- yet greed is about power, status, and material wealth-- yet again, Rapunzel doesn't want any of that, she wants to satiate a desires to see the lanterns, which leans more towards gluttony. greed is separated from gluttony by being purely about earthly desires, and for this I say tiana.

Only because she already has a pretty good life at the beginning of the film.

Vizsla4 picked Ariel:
I don't think Tiana is greedy at all. There's nothing wrong with her wanting to run a successful business, and money wasn't her motivation.
