I think. What do you mean by "be cultured" anyway??

Cultured: "characterized by refined taste and manners and good education."

50+ years ago I would've been fine with "Somewhat. She should have some manners and decent education." but with Disney being an American company and Americans being less cultured than ever before, I would prefer "Completely. She should be self-motivated to experience new cultures." or "A lot. She should be as well-mannered and educated as she can be." She should at least be open to it.

i find this term "cultured" extremely subjective as people interpret it in way too many ways, despite a dictionary meaning. Its how people grow up, how people experience things, how they react to situations so on and so forth. What is "cultured" to me can be completely different to others.

^ "Cultured" is not a subjective word at all. I think you are misunderstanding the word. Aspects of being cultured specifically are appreciation of the arts, well rounded education, worldly outlook and social etiquette.

Also the things you were saying apply more to being of a culture not being cultured. I apologize, I should've been more clear the first time when Angelica_AW. My apologies to you, her and everyone else on the poll who might not have understood.

The aspects as mentioned are again subjective in their own - worldly outlook, well rounded (subjective parameters to judge) education etc. What Americans think is cultured is way different than what Indian's think as cultured. Neither is wrong. In India, half the population thinks its not necessary for a girl to receive education coz she should focus on household work. Now imo, its not cultured but most people think like this and think its right. Most Indians think rock music is Satan worship and is not cultured either. half the people thought MF Hussain showed goddesses in immodest ways and thought of him as uncultured while other half highly praise his art. I find a lot of aspects as cultured whereas i know of lot of people who wouldn't. So, for me, its extremely subjective

What you consider to be "cultured" IS subjective but that has nothing to do with this poll because the poll cant be subjective since it is asking "HOW cultured" you expect a DP to be, not what you consider to be "cultured". If the poll was asking something about "WHAT" you consider to be cultured then it would be subjective. However, this poll is completely not subjective because there is nothing subjective about whether you want a DP to be cultured or not or what level of cultured; the subjective part only lies in the details of what you will consider to be cultured which has nothing to do with this poll in particular.
