She gets enough love in my opinion.

I'm being totally biased, though, since she's my least favorite. She doesn't get much attention outside of Fanpop, but there's not much to her to begin with.

Lol, even here we still have tons of people who share your guys' opinion. We definitely don't like her for nothing. her personality isn't obvious, and liking what we see doesn't mean she gets too much love.

When she isn't being totally forgotten, she has a bit of a hatedom going on, criticizing her for being "passive", "weak:, "boring", "flat", and often, a horrible role model for no reason other than she has less screen time and was physically unable to save herself.

they also LOVE to pit her against Mulan negatively, to show what a horrible example of a woman she is.

I don't think she's quite as bad as people say, so...

I think fans can tend to overanalyze her but I can't really say she's overrated.

She has a cult in Tumblr, though.

Sadly, she is very underrated and I think she needs more appreciation.

I think if she wasn't one of Walt's Princesses she would've been dropped off the line a long time ago. I mean, initially her film bombed at the box office, costing millions of dollars at Disney (her movie had a long production, almost 10 years), modern female viewers view as a "lame" female character who can't compete with "teh awesomeness" of Elsa or Mulan, and even parents don't even know her name.

She frequently gets called the most beautiful princess, and she seems fairly popular, although she does get a lot of criticism as well.
