They encourage girls to like boy-stuff yet, they discourage guys for liking girl-stuff. My father loves Sleeping Beauty and my two brothers enjoyed The Little Mermaid, Aladdin and maybe Beauty and the Beast. They dislike the Princess and the Frog-NOT because it was "girly" but because they found some characters and parts of the plot to be a rip-off of the past Disney movies. (They complained that Louis acted too much like Pumbaa, Naveen looked too much like Prince Eric, and found the songs unmemorable). posted over a year ago.
