Jyllands-Posten has printed the drawings again, and now many muslims(there are 800.000 muslims in Denmark out of 5.4 mio. people = 0,8 mio people is muslims) in the age from 13-17 started setting buildings on fogo in Aarhus and Copenhagen, but what they don't know is that it's legal to DRAW anything you want in Denmark, even if it was pornographic( You actually only have to be 15 for to have sex and 16 to buy alcohol here), but it's illegal so set things on fire. People just don't know what the drawings stands for, they think that it's realistic, but it was actually just a kind of a joke (maybe we have sick homour)

I don't think that the muslim world shall be mad about it, because they must have better things to do, and it was not evil meant. Denmark respects muslims and there is even a popular muslim party-leader. Attacking us will be attacking them self. In my class, we are 5 from bosnia, 1 from syria, 1 from vietnam and 1 from lebanon out of 18.

Maybe the muslims just takes their religion too seriously. Up here, we are kinda hippies. We believe in everything, but I actually think that most people in science. You know about the big bang.

Anyway, they should'nt care about what we do up here, because we don't believe in war. We believe in working things out, but still I think that it was stupid to print the drawings again after the muslims got over it. They maybe just wanted our leite down there again?

aholic Yeah me too, but to burn buildings and flags and stop buying our milk products is not ok. You know, it's just drawings...

Cinders I think the problem is that situations like this are creating an "Us and Them" sort of issue, as evidenced by your article. Obviously radicalism of any sort is intolerable whether it's religious terrorism (like the Muslims burning buildings) or scientific terrorism (ecoterrorists). I think it's a perspective issue. Obviously they were offended before and whether others think they have the "right" to be offended or not or whether they are too rigid in their beliefs, I think some respect to that should be shown. I don't think they should have burned buildings obviously, but they do have a right to protest and voice their disapproval. Just like those crazy Fred Phelps folks are allowed to protest military funerals, as much as I disagree with them and dislike what they say. But whoever started those fires should be arrested. Whoever claims to be offended should be allowed to feel free to do so. Similarly, the artist has the right to publish whatever he/she wants. Just be prepared for people to get offended. It always happens with nearly every controversial issue.

amazondebs i feel sorry for religious people sometimes, or any particular group it's extremists like this that make the rest of them look bad I'm sure their are plenty of Muslims in Denmark showing their disapproval in a none violent way however those that are, are hypocrites they're are saying it's 'ungodly' or what ever phrase they would use to draw muhammed , but I'm sure Allah didn't particularly want them to burn buildings and possible harm or kill someone it's the teddy incident all over again http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/7112929.stm

aholic I agree that they should'nt be published, but the muslims just overreact. The ones who published them should just say I'm sorry, and the muslims should just let it go, but neither of them will.

greekthegeek So, if i drew a picture of how Christ is a fake or whatever the Christians have every right to get mad? But the Muslims don't? Yeah, they should be a hell of a lot mad. But they're being taken out as burning crap, which isn't right. It's right to have a freedom of speech, but being racist isn't right either. why is everything targeted at Muslims? I mean, do the artists think that they're the best Christians so they'll go to Heaven? Or maybe they're Jewish? I know that Jesus or Moses or whoever you worship probably wouldn't so such thing.

aholic about the milk products - yeah they do, but they still could'nt live without them, because they wanted it again a month after. I would'nt care if someone made a silly drawing of christ or moses, there are no rules for that!

aholic ´Here lately the 9-16 years old muslims burned 6 schools and many other buildings and bikes and streets. The problem is, that they don't know what the law says. They can demonstrate, and then the goverment can think what they will do, but the prime minister says, that it's not against the law to make drawings in your own newspaper, but it is illegal to burn off buildings. The only think I think that they can do i's that we are gonna vote for it to be illegal and then it won't happend again.

aholic It's the same in France in the Paris area.

aholic The candidate for the prime-minister post said here this night: We can't do anything about it, and we won't let the muslims decide it. We can't let them decide what rules we are gonna have, and if we changed them, then it would have no effect on the crise, because it happened when it was legal( not that it's illegal now, but you know) I think she is right, that's also why my family voted on her.

aholic The problem is that people say that it's all the danish people that did "it" against the muslim people. It's just one single newspaper in a whole different world. The profet may be important to them, but why do they care? If the newspaper wanted to say something to them, then they probably would have done it in a different way. There is no reason to get mad at the whole nation.

Skallingen

Skallingen is an island in the northern part of vadehavet (walkocean is the right translation). It's 7 km long and is a quite new island. It was naturally made in 1634 por a sandstorm. Skallingen is all nature, but that's not the only thing...

Skallingen until today had the last minefelt in Denmark. The Germans putted them there duing world war II, but now it's all clean.

You still should'nt go there, because it's nature area. It would be a good place to swim, but the ocean is pretty rough there. Actually 2 km of the island will be gone por the seguinte 25 years...

The life on the island is very quiet and you must not bring dogs, because it's an important place for birds.
