In MY opinion, I don't think the quote refers to Damon/Elena/Stefan, but Stefan and the upcoming flashback episode. Paul Wesley said that he would have continued along his ripper path if it weren't for this 'person'.

But if it does, then that's pretty lame. Stefan/Elena are going to have a 'romantic weekend' in 2x14, and then breakup in 2x15 AGAIN anyway. They're just trying to make them more 'balanced' and yes...promote them.

In the end - nobody gives a shit about Stelena. They'll drop this eventually.

Good point @NateHeartSerena, I really think that the sweet and naive Damon is still deep down inside him. Hes changed so much since season 1. I never would have thought that the Damon in episodes 1 and 2 would be as sweet as season 2 :)

i don't see what Katherine sees in Stefan i don't see what elena sees in stefan i hate them together. I also think that stefan is compelling elena to say with him (just might opionion)

I think he is very overrated. And I do not see him as this good guy. He most certainly is not the guy who is perfect for Elena. I hope the writers will wake up and see that.

I thought the tagline was kind of ironic. 'There's a reason he always gets the girl'. It's weird because Damon's shower scene/bathtub scene (we're getting 2 scenes in upcoming episodes) has been so heavily promoted. Kevin Williamson said in an article that Damon is 'a hot sexy vampire' and that they want scenes when he's 'pondering life' in the shower. And they've started talking about what his bedroom looks like (no photos, but apparently the bed is huge.) Who's getting a hot shower scene? Damon. Who's bedroom are we most excited to see? Damon's. There's a reason for this. Maybe they put that tagline in there for Stefan because Damon was getting so much press. Or because they couldn't think of anything else to say.

his picture does look over photoshopped. does he even have any facial hair or pores. did they airbrush to the extreme. what an egotistical logo. as if he's even close to being as hot as damon thats why he always gets the girl. stelena fans like this logo. it just speaks to stefans huge ass ego. at a certain point they gotta realize its not cool to promote always getting what you want. what kind of dumb ass message is that? what a sad pathetic promo.

i think the reason why stefan "suposedly" gets all the girls because he trys so hard to make himself look better than everyone else. He uses Damon and anyone else to make him look like He is the "good" brother. That whole "im a monster" thing he puts out is to make everyone feel so sorry for him. He's not doing the monster thing as much anymore, but he's stealing all the Credit from Damon. He just wants EVERYONE to like him.
I'm tired of all this SE promoting when they are going NO WHERE. They break up get back together... breeak up AGAIN, end up getting back together. There's no point to it all, and this is why DE has the majority of the fan base.
