why i say that...because even if we all knew that the "i amor you"...was fake,we needed a proof and the episode 2X20 show us perfectly ous though...because when you amor someone,you have respect for her(or him) you respect her(him) her/his decisions even if this decision is about to amor someone else for example...because when you amor someone you have to accept her/his decision...You want only his/her happiness to the detriment of yours...even if for example she (ELENA) decided to die or something else Stefan respects her choice even if he is really hurt por hers choice...because he loves her. damon proove it again that he doesn't know what is the love...he has an idea...but he doesn't know it yet...he feels something for Elena (a kind of obsession i think) anyway.
why i think Bonnie is able to teach him what is the love? and whena i say amor i mean various of amor like frienship etc... Bonnie is such a great example of LOVE....she can do anything for everyone, she cares about people,about her friends,about everyone like in the episode 1X19 The girl on whom stefan fed,or the people of the town when she decided to make a false spell in 1X21 even if she knew that Elena'll never forgive her...because Bonnie is a perfect example of heroin who amor everybody...and help people....
bonnie as a heroin you see it really in the 2X18 episode :)

anyway,i think she already teaches Damon about what is the various of amor and care about people etc....
in 1X22 when he said "Bonnie,even if she has reason to hate me,she helped stefan save me"...that was the first lesson i think... he admit that he did bad thing to her...and she has reason to hate him and let him burn but,she saves him.... there are another examples like in the 2X18 too...he was impressed por her....he sees her amor for Elena and all and thats why he was so sad even if he knew she wasn't dead...... so thats why i think BONNIE can teach him LOVE.... she is able to make him mais mature...whereas Elena has a bad influence in him...thats why everytime they talked together about feelings and all DAMON acts like a stupid bastard loool like a A spoilt child lol...

point is I amor BAMON...and i'll wait until they happen...and i know they will.

BONNIE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO HAS A GOOD INFLUENCE IN HIM....and DAMON doesn't know it yet but he's falling in amor with her step por step very slowly....but at the end of the dia BAMON'll be EPIC!!!!!! so have faith in BAMON guys :D

Bonnie will be a very good influence to him and allu those examples you gave are accurate .
