Blairwaldorffan LMAO....Don't think that much, just be happy, couple never defines ratings, DE fans think that they are 99% of fandom,lol... really then why ratings are dropping like crazy in S2 as they have got ILY scene in S2 , you know why because the show's standard has dropped in S2, it's predictable and also because they are only concentrating on shirtless/pant-less Damon/Stefan and cliche yawn triangle, hello, If I want to watch nudity or triangle, I will watch TRUE BLOOD or porn, 90210.Couple never defines Ratings, Chair fans are spreading all over internet that because Dair is happening, the ratings are dropping but Josh obviously knows why it's dropping and it's not Dair, this season GG sucks also like I have said no couple ever can manage to rise/drop ratings, it's all over story which matters and JP and KW know the fact that no couple can manage the ratings.This season TVD is huge disappointment, Only Klaus arrival can change it.That's why they are advertising Klaus like crazy to stop the fall of TVD.So, don't bother and maybe you don't know but this season PLAN B got highest ratings and Bamon stills have been advertised then.So...Don't bother.

ducky8abug Sweetie, I work! I leave work at 8 P.M. If I don't use my DVR, then I"d be unable to watch 95% of the things I want to watch. It's not about the storyline. It's done out of necessity. There's nothing I can do about it. I have to work!

jereimy hey, I dont think bamon or delena can do something about the fall of TVD... delena is also promot a lot this time, there is almost no scenes for forwood or another couples all is about stelena and delena and we had lucky with these stills but dont worry I am pretty sure bamon will help to the ratings, delena and stelena are now boring and predictable but Bamon is something unexpect

Minaftw Guys that wasn't my point, my point was that people are going to be really busy because for a lot of us we have finals and others have work, so it's going to be lower ratings, and the writers will just take account of it being about Bamon when really it's one of the busiest times of the year for people

CrazedBamonFan I wouldn't worry about it to be honest, if it takes 1 episode to tank a show, then the show shouldn't have been on the air to begin with.

aceg @Minaftw: TVD has been experiencing continuing trend of low ratings since mid season 2. Its ratings dropped below 3.0m after episodes 14 and hasn't stopped since. I suspect KW and JP already noticed that the decline in ratings is associated with less appeal to overall layout of this season. Also, since the bulk of audiences are youngsters and students, the producers of TVD would know that March and April are busy monthes for students. As a result, they may not catch up with upcoming episodes on TV, in which result in slight decline in ratings. Therefore It would be unreasonable (for show's producers) to assume the seasonal shift in ratings to be the impacts of DB storyline. I think you might worry too much lol.

Kurenai24 I think with or without the decline of ratings, t.v producers know when there ratings r being lowered by actual outside occurences and actual neglecting to watch tvd. Examples would be the football games and basketball games (which we just got through aka march madness) those 2 things right there would be reason enough why the ratings would be down, so thats why the producers take them off the air and we have these "breaks". I think that producers r aware this is the time period where tests and finals r being put out and that will probably let them kno why their ratings r low. I think once a show comes back from break, the rating would be high from anticipation...so no worries 4 this week. The producers can't exactly put breaks for everybody who has a test/final in school b/c people still take it at different times (I took my final today) so they may see if people r trying to catch episodes on the internet and add that to the ratings -shrugs-

nglenn9 I'm not sure hoe they do this...but I heard that the networks can tell what's dvrd. so they count the dvrs too
