Alice (Alice in Wonderland)
Alice is portrayed as being very curious. She's often seen sonhar acordado and gives herself conselhos instead of listening to the conselhos of others. The tawny-haired mermaid is a girl in the process of becoming an attractive woman. Although she is warned por her father, King Triton, that humans are dangerous, Ariel stubbornly believes otherwise and has an insatiable curiosity about them. She explores human artifacts (sunken ships, etc.) and is constantly going into forbidden territory: the surface. This, of course, leads her to amor ... and trouble.

Belle is a young woman living in the French countryside with her father, an inventor. She's a lovely free-thinker who likes to read and go on adventures within her own imagination. Belle can also be stubborn, but she tries to protect people she truly loves and is very patient towards others. Belle is a shrewd nonconformist for her time in many ways. The most pronounced is her amor of books, adventure and knowledge, which the townspeople find odd for a woman. Gaston says to her at one point, "It's not right for a woman to read. Soon she starts getting ideas and...thinking...". Belle also does not care about appearances, whether they pertain to herself or anyone else. This is highly ironic, considering she is seen as the most beautiful woman in her village.

Ever since early childhood, charlotte has gotten everything she wanted, and gained a very spoiled personality from it, but though she is self-centered, the lovely debutant is be no means selfish. She has always dreamed of marrying a prince and living a storybook life; because of this charlotte would dress in princess clothing, made for her por Eudora, the finest seamstress in New Orleans, who also happens to be the mother of her childhood friend, Tiana. She's a slightly ditzy, implusive diva filled with spunk and flare. She shows no ill will to Tiana even though Prince Naveen wanted to wed Tiana rather than her, and kisses a frog for her even though she won't get to marry Naveen, thinking she is the princess who must kiss the frog to break the spell. It doesn't work anyway, but they didn't know that at the time.

cinderela is initially made a servant in her início and is constantly derided por her evil stepmother Lady Tremaine and two stepsisters. In cinderela III: A Twist in Time, her determination is put to the test as she goes through all odds to prove to her Prince that she's his true love. In this film she's seen in a very powering role and finally learns that if you want a dream to come true, you have to help make it come true.

Eilowny (The Black Cauldron)
Like the women in her family, she is a formidable enchantress. As a member of the Royal House of Llyr, Eilonwy wears a pendant depicting a silver crescent moon, the family emblem. Far from being just another stereotypical damsel-in-distress princess, who needs the hero to save her, she is hot-tempered, stubborn and resolute. Although having been trained as a sorceress and not a warrior, she is quite capable of using various weapons, particularly the sword, bow and spear. Even when unarmed, she will fight like a wildcat (i.e. scratching, biting, and kicking) until incapacitated. She is also sharp, snippy, strong-willed, and sarcastic. She often gets angry with Taran, usually for reasons he does not understand, though in secret she does care for him. However, while she is mais sure about her growing feelings towards him than he is about his for her, she is content to wait until he confesses to her, which he does in the end.

Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre Dame)

Then one dia she dances into danger, and only the walls of Notre Dame can save her from certain death. Esmeralda is a bit different from the past heroines. She's a little bit physically stronger and tougher. And yet, because she herself is an outcast and has been discriminated against, she has the capacity to sympathize and relate to Quasimodo as no one ever has before. Esmeralda and her pet goat, Djali, live por their wits on the streets of Paris.

When the film begins, Princess Giselle is an innocent, romantic young woman, living in the land of the Kingdom, Andalasia. She matures over the course of the film and develops mais of an understanding of the concept of love. Despite her naive qualities, Giselle is extremely Valente and resourceful as shown por her narrowly escaping a troll at the start of the film and standing up to the evil queen Narissa at the film's climax.

Jane Porter (Tarzan)
The artistic, if slightly naive heroine of Tarzan may look like the typical disney girl, but her personality is all her own. Like Belle, she is an adventurous and intelligent brunette with a close relationship to her father, but how they differ is clear. Jane is a mais introverted, shy, and demure girl who sometimes makes judgements on appearances. This all fades throughout the film, but Jane has a quirky personality all her own.

Princess Kidagakash is the sole heir to the Atlantean throne. Her father is King Kashekim Nedakh. Kida was only a child when Atlantis sank, and all she remembers from it was a bright light and it calling her mother away. Kida never saw her mother after that. Kida is a fierce, friendly, and curious young woman who helps Milo when he arrives.

Nani often serves as a gentle voice of reason and conselhos in the films, and occasionally, not so gentle. It was Nani, in the original film, who allowed Lilo to adopt Stitch from the pound, where he had been mistaken for a dog. As a result of her stress, Nani is easily aggravated por Lilo and Stitch's antics, which often unfortunately interfere with her ability to find and hold a stable job. Her busy life sometimes makes it difficult for her to maintain a normal relationship with David Kawena, a local surfer, who is Nani's friend in the original film and later amor interest. She is renowned among her household for her bad cooking. Her worst fear is noted to be losing Lilo to social workers like cobra Bubbles, whom she at first disliked but, after the events of the first film, comes to trust and respect.

She is one of the main protagonists in the film and serves as the representation that anyone's dreams can come true if one has enough faith. She is regarded as one of Disney's bravest characters.

Pocahontas' name itself means "Little Mischief." She is based on the real historical figure, and was born into a highly sophisticated Native American culture that had some knowledge of Europeans. Pocahontas is displayed as a noble, free-spirited and highly spiritual young woman. She expresses wisdom beyond her years and offers kindness and guidance to those around her. She loves adventure and nature. In the film, she appears to have shamanic powers since she was able to commune with nature, talk to spirits, empathize with animals, and understand unknown languages. In the sequel, Pocahontas seems to have grown after thinking that John Smith had died. She keeps her independent spirit and playfulness, but is much mais mature and self assured than she was in the first film. During her stay in England, she nearly loses herself in the hustle and bustle of this new world and is turned into someone she's not. But in the end she bravely intends to sacrifice herself for her people's safety and returns to her homeland, finding herself, and love, once again.

Rapunzel is not a typical noble disney Princess. Having been locked away in a tower her entire life, with her hairdo of over 70 feet in length, which has magical healing powers and and is used as a weapon, she still loves her overprotective mother who has devoted herself to her. Rapunzel enjoys life in the tower, spending large portions of her days expressing herself creatively por painting the walls which line the tower. Because of this creativity and curiosity, she is beginning to pergunta what else is out there, and has a hunch that there is something mais inside of her.

Though her Master keeps her something like a prisoner, she always finds a way out of his lab, usually por "poisoning" his soup, using Deadly Nightshade. When Dia das bruxas on natal turns black, Sally's there to stop Jack from doing something that might hurt him.

Though sometimes portrayed as a "perfect" and "vanilla" character, Snow White actually shows throughout the film attitude and humor when making the dwarves wash up.

She is a motivated, determined, and independent young woman. She wants to do things her way, without help from anyone. Anika Noni Rose, the voice of Tiana says: "She’s a strong woman who doesn’t need anyone to do things for her...She wants to do things for herself." She must learn that balance is important in life; to be happy, she needs both amor and a career.

Tiger Lily (Peter Pan)
In the movie, Tiger Lily is the daughter of the Indian Chief and a loyal friend of Peter Pan. Her friendship with Peter Pan leads Captain Hook believe that Tiger Lily knows where Peter Pan's hideout. With the assistance of Mr. Smee, Captain Hook captures Tiger Lily and takes her to Skull Rock. The Indians believe that she was captured por the lost Boys, and so do not come for her. Captain Hook places the bound Tiger Lily on a rock sticking out of the sea. He offers to set her free if she reveals the início of Peter Pan. He points out the rising tide, noting that Indian belief says that an Indian who dies por drowning cannot make it to the Happy Hunting Grounds. However, Tiger Lily refuses to talk.
