Sort of. I'm one hundred percent against smoking and drugs. I know some people who do them, though, and they are very nice. That doesn't mean I support what they do, though. I believe that drinking is fine in moderation. Abusing alcohol is bad, but getting together to drink with friends or having a wine at night isn't bad. As long as you're appropriately aged, drinking is okay as long as it's in moderation.
Drugs is the only one I'm really against, smoking, I wouldn't do it myself but if they're legal age it's their choice...and drinking in moderation is okay, even jesus drank wine.

I know drinking wine is fine, but just not getting drunk
So are you also against guns, driving, flying, riding in any form of transportation, and eating?...because those things could kill you too. Sorry if I came off being a jerk. I understand about not smoking because of health concerns...but i feel the drugs and drinking are only harmful if abused and misused.
I am, but not because of religion. I'm against anything that could potentially kill me, even if the actual risk is small. I know for sure people can survive without the occasional drink, because my parents have never taken a sip of alcohol their entire lives. I see myself following in their footsteps. Others are free to do as they wish, though - as long I don't inhale any second-hand smoke or they end up killing themselves.

So I will ask you what I asked cynti19...are you also against guns, driving, flying, riding in any form of transportation, and eating? All those things could potentially kill you. I know eating seems odd but you could choke and die or have an allergic reaction and die or even get comida poising and die. Everything has the potential to kill you....sorry If I am coming off rude. Just in a weird mood for a rant.
Ok, first let me say I have friends who participate in all three. While I may not, I accept them because none of us is perfect. I believe the Bible teaches that wine in moderation is ok. Using alcohol in excess is bad for you and for those around you. I work in a jail. I can tell you that over 65% of the people in jail are because of an offence involving alcohol or drugs. Under the influence, they control your tinking and you urso the responsibility. I also think it is unwise to smoke. We all know of the health risks. Have you ever consider what it makes you smell like. It's worse with heavier smokers than casual ones. All three are or can be addictions. It is best to control your own life, instead of being under the control of a substance, or habit.
Well I'm against all drugs that are not used for calming or medical purposes (ex.: LSD, cocaine, heroin, meth, etc.), I'm only okay with drinking in moderation, and I despise smoking.
