The adventures of the trio who transform into amphibious beauties at the touch of water have found millions of dedicated followers in over 130 territories, includ ing the U.S., the U.K., Australia, Canada, Germany, France, Italy, the Benelux, Scandinavia, Latin America and Spain. After its first two seasons, production is about to start on the third season of this smash series.

The third season sees the arrival of a new mermaid, Bella, who is played por popular young Australian actress Indiana Evans. She joins Rikki (Cariba Heine) and Cleo (Phoebe Tonkin) in the teen trio of sereias with superpowers. We're really excited about this new season,” says “H2O” producer Jonathan M. Shiff. The stories are edgier, a little darker, and a little mais sophisticated. Our three teenage girls are growing up and thinking about finishing school, becoming independent from their parents... and, of course, there s mais romance.

Indiana Evans is an extraordinary casting coup, as she is a household name in Australia and the U.K., having starred on início and Away for the past five years. The new season of “H2O” will see her character cantar on screen. It could mean the launch of an international música career for the young actress. ZDF Enterprises’ Director of Coproduction Children & Youth, Arne Lohmann, states: “We are happy to have Indiana Evans on board for season three; she s a perfect fit and connects well with Cariba Heine and Phoebe Tonkin. The H2O success story continues, with the H2O brand growing even stronger in season three.

To keep things sizzling, the series introduces a new heartthrob for the girls, the handsome free diving champion Will, played por Luke Mitchell. Will is athletic, comfortable with his looks and as keen as the girls are in finding respostas to the secret of Mako Island. “In season three, the moon pool itself will come alive as an extraordinary character, providing not only new dangers to the girls, but also the key to their destiny and the safety of our planet,” reveals Shiff.

While the anterior seasons all featured stunning underwater fotografia shot among real sharks and tropical fish, the third season will provide even mais awesome production values, including mais action, mais visual effects and mais spectacular underwater tank filming. This will be done at the Warner Road show Studios on Australia s Gold Coast.
