Lucas loved her, " you might know a girl named brooke davis, and i am madly in love with her." that is what lucas said to peyton, so there you go. Their relationship would have lasted if that bitch of a friend peyton wouldnt test Brooke's trust and friendship.

I most definitely blame the Bitch for their break-up. I know that Brooke said "This is not about her" but she also said "I cant do this anymore" and thats why Brooke and Peyton were not friends in S4. If it wasnt Peyton's fault I dont why Brooke would have a problem with being her friend.
The truth is Peyton was being a bitch and I hated how she acted like it wasnt her fault and she was trying help Lucas get back with Brooke but at the same time she was asking questions like " Who do you see standing next to you" and "Are you sure you want Brooke" Like somehow he's going to say "no, I want you Peyton." Yeah right!

i think the main reaosn was brooke's insecurities but um peyton was the cause of them so... yeah it was peyton. if she hadnt done wht she did the s3 finale would have been completely different (which imo is a bad thing caus it was brilliant). and saBrucas i totally agree, s4 peyton was a total backstabbing bitch.

i hated peyton s4 to now. gosh she just had to ruin everything. her character totally had a fall out when she told brooke she still had feelings for lucas. wat a witch. gosh i hate her.
