I've been thinking a lot lately about brucas and leyton and then I read this fã fiction and just it all made sense again. We all know Lucas has been avoiding Brooke is it because he doesn't care? is it because he's too caught up with Peyton? or is it the fact Brooke puts on a Valente face and cheers on leyton and everytime he see's her he has to fight the urge to yell out "IT'S YOU BROOKE IT'S ALWAYS BEEN YOU!" because we know that brucas have the epic amor story
and have you ever thought maybe Lucas always agreed to get Brooke to shut up about how leyton are epic? Have you ever thought maybe he didn't call her that night when he was in the airport because he thought Brooke would be angry? Angry because he led her to believe Peyton is the one for him and led her to believe he wanted Peyton there when his dreams came true. Have you ever thought maybe he loves Peyton but not like he use to maybe even he's pretending Peyton is Brooke. We know that leyton aren't as playful as brucas but they divided the house in half with tape doing the silly little games that are completely out of character for leyton but fit brucas perfectly. That would help make sense of the "pretty girl" nickname for Peyton, it just slipped out because he's pretending she's Brooke. Have you ever thought he called Peyton at the airport because he's still led to believe Brooke stopped loving him all those years atrás and he just knew Peyton would say yes to him. Also have you ever thought that he didn't call Brooke that night because he thought she would say no, not because she didn't amor him but because she wouldn't dare put her best friend through the pain she felt when her best friend did it to her. We all heard him say "I amor you" to Brooke and only Brooke during his dream and since it was the easiest with Lindsey and easy with Peyton that makes Brooke the hardest to be in a relationship with because he has to work with her like every relationship has to do you have to work it's never easy but with Peyton it is because he never has to worry about her leaving him because no matter what he does Peyton will never let him go. I believe Lucas regrets it all and he doesn't feel he went with the right path when he let Brooke go all those years atrás and I believe Brooke NEEDS him to be in amor with Peyton because she could never do that to her best friend even if it means putting her own happyness on hold. </rant> Alright i'm finished for tonight this artigo wore me out. I miss brucas :[ Never give up faith. It's not over till it's over.

kuhriissten this is VERY interesting. i have always wondered WHY Lucas said "I LOVE YOU" to Brooke..and no one else in his dream. i hope it's a sign, i really really do!

oth-brucas4ever thinking about it i realis that lucas is always so desprate for love. look at the facts. lindsay left him. he playing house with brooke and i better that had to trigger memeroies, which freaked him out. desprate for love he ring up a girl at the airport so they can go and get married. i no that brooke would of said no to marry him...why would she auto say yes???? so he picked peyton who always waiting there....is lucas that desprate for love that said alot about peyton cause really how shallow can she be to jump straight back into lucas arms like that i have too many theorys on this

brattynemz Thanks for keeping the faith alive, I think most fans are crushed and Brulian is helping them move on but in a diff direction. I'm still waiting for that day.

livexthexlife92 totally good points. and yea i hav wondered alot why he said i love you to only brooke. and well i thnk lucas doesnt see brooke alot cuz hes avoiding her, maybe hes just afraid of facing her cuz he knows he still has feelings for her. but he thinks tht brooke stopped loving him so he just gave up :\ but i thnk deep down he still loves her but can face her. nd yea it totally explains the pretty girl and the whole playfulness knock of lp had, cuz thts all BL. i thnk in his mind he thinks tht he shuld be with peyton cuz BROOKE wants him to be. all good point. great article :)

s1r1 i agree with what you said in the article. i've been having the same thoughts when i'm reading brucas fanfics. i feel deep down lucas knows that brooke is the one for him but he doesn't want to own up to his feelings bcoz he's not sure that brooke still loves him. i have to say i cant believe that til now lucas doesnt know the real reason why brooke broke up with him at the start of s4.
