Mike Lowell is actually an all-season player, not just regular season... basically.

Why would you let a Yankee join the Sox anyway?

Get some of the Yankees gameplans, if the guy's actually a great player, go for it. My only problem(s) with A-Rod is he's a very "me" player, not much of a "we" guy, he can't hit for toffee in the post-season, so he's swell to get a team there, but to win it all... bloody hell it's hard! And then the fact of him at the plate with a guy in scoring position, the average of a base hit is a joke!

I don't care if the Red Sox sign ANY Yankee, if he helps our team get better, go for it... A-Rod doesn't I'm afraid.

Are you kidding? Firstly, Mike Lowell is an all around good baseball player and from what it seems, a pretty decent guy. A Rod is a greedy, lying, cheating, selfish little jerk, not to mention one of the most overrated players in baseball. C'mon, remember the time he slapped the ball out of Bronson Arroyo's hand? Does anyone really want someone that immature to play for the Sox? And who was it who won World Series MVP in 2007? Mike Lowell!
