Well, I think there's a lot left to his story that we don't know. There's definitely a deep connection between him and Rangiku, and he certainly is a great double agent, but we're still basically looking at a black box at this stage. Why did he decide to get so close to Aizen, knowing how powerful he was? Gin probably thought there was a decent chance he'd fail here, why did he try anyway?

Gin became a shinigami right after the men that were following Aizen hurt Rangiku. Gin had saw them report back to Aizen. When Gin told her that he was going to be a shinigami he said that he would end it and Rangiku wouldnt have to cry anymore. I think he got so close to Aizen is because the better you know your enemy the better the chance of you defeating them.(That doesn't work with Aizen cause he knows everything.) I wonder What Gin meant when he told Rangiku sorry i couldn't get it back. Was he talking about the hougyoku or something else?
Also i thing if it wasn't for what happened to Rangiku, i dont think Gin would have every join to be a shinigami. But now that Ichigo is finally there, do you think Gin will die. And if he doesn't and after all this is over, What will the Head Captain do to him?
