"Long story short, I’ve always shipped Arthur and Morgana, no matter what incarnation - whether it’s BBC’s Merlin or medieval stories or whatever. I’ve always been fascinated por their dynamic and I quite amor it all so very much. Bradley and Katie’s brilliant chemistry on Merlin just emphasized that for me.

At the end of many legends, when Arthur finally falls in battle, it is Morgana that is with him, and she takes him to Avalon, where they’re reunited and remain together after being driven apart during their lifetimes por circumstance, por events, por other people, por each other.

At the end of the day, she takes care of him, and they stay together.

That’s why I tag them as endgame OTP. Whether or not it will actually happen in the show (and seeing as it’s a kids’ show, I’m leaning towards the fact that it won’t), in my mind, no matter how much they oppose one another, no matter how much fighting and anger and hatred season four (and season five) bring… at the end of the day, in my mind, Arthur will fall, as it is told in legend, and it is Morgana who will be there to take him, to care for him, to bring him home, as it were, for them to be together again.
