Hard one as every season is special in some way. But it seemed to me that in this one they fought the most to be together, so..

I agree Joppa. They had a lot of epic moments in each series, but for me I loved the obstacles they faced in series 3 and we got a few Arwen-centred episodes than the others (in my opinion anyway).

It was between 3 and 4 for me. Definitely not 5.

Seasons 3 and 4 for me (it's tough to choose) - though I did love 2 as well. Episode 2x02 is one of my all time favourties, as is Sweet Dreams.

Oh yes, another seasons had some amazing moments and episodes as well. Except for season, which was disappointment!

Changed my vote. Going with 3 now.

I choose season 4 because there were so many moments that I loved such as 4x05-the break up and the make up, 4x06, 4x09- the proposal was one of my all time favorites, even the throne room scene (I bawled like a baby) and 4x12 because of their reunion and of course 4x13 the second proposal and the coronation. But season 3 is a close second.

Just like hapybeinginsane stated, 2x02 is my all time favorite because of the newness of their relationship.

Well, I'm late but just want to add my two cents. I picked 3 but I agree I love those two episodes in season 2 and I love so many of the moments in Season 4, especially the second proposal and coronation. Also, episode 4x11 is one of my all time favorites even though they didn't have a scene together--it was so well done and so thoroughly an Arwen episode. Isn't it sad that none of us liked what happened with our couple in Season 5, after they were finally married. So sorry the show treated it as they did, but too late now to complain.
